I've been tasting their beers here and there on tap around the Portland area over the past year and have always been pleased. Their Veridian IPA is always solid and the Pepperill Pils is also crisp and fresh. So I was excited to go and finally visit them at their tasting room for their anniversary party. It was a little tough to find (walking up from the river, we walked right past it the first time), but were pleased when we got in. Huge tasting area with tables, couches, ping pong tables, and corn hole. Even tiger pictures in the bathroom! All the staff with whom we interacted were friendly and loved to chat about their beers. Not sure what it's like their on a normal, non-party day, but they had about ten beers on tap, a few of which were brewery-only and you'd never find else where on tap. They sold them by the pint or 5oz pours of the high ABV ones. All the ones we tried were great. Great trip, just a shame it's not a little closer to Portland.

Banded Horn has a great selection for any beer drinker. I prefer IPAs, but the Pepperall Pilsner and the Greenwarden American Ale are two of the best lighter style beers I have had in a while. Love the ping pong tables too. The staff is great and very knowledgeable. Great to have it so close!

I've tried their beers in local restaurants so I knew that would be great! Visit to the brewery however better than great! Options are from a sample to a flight to a pint and take home growler. Staff is friendly and the set up cool! This is not your typical sample a go place. It's enjoy and stay a while one! You are supporting a local growing business doing it right too!

We were excited to try a new brewery close to where we were staying in Saco. The beer is really good and the people are super nice. It is a neat little tasting room right in the brewing warehouse room. They have popcorn, ping pong and foosball tables and some small seating areas. It's really casual. A great happy hour option for beer-folk!

Banded Horn Brewery is very new. Opened in the Fall of 2013. Tried one of their beers at a local restaurant. I was so impressed that we had to find the brewery. Ian and Ron are brewing great beers and ales. They are open for tastings and I highly recommend the Pepperell Pilsner. We had a fun time at the brewery this past Saturday.
