My husband and I were pleasantly surprised by this tasting experience! We were able to sample their entire menu from top to bottom, most wineries have you choose from what they offer. The best part was the food pairing - they offered us some samples with a few of the wines they served. The staff member who was waiting on us was very knowledgeable about the wines and other appropriate pairings. This was a fun place to stop and we really enjoyed our visit.
My friend and I were in Erie and decided to do visit some of the wineries on the Erie Wine Trail. We went to five of them and the service and wines were great. This winery was more than wine tasting it was an experience that one should not miss. We were greeted by Dana our wine tester. We paid the 3 dollar fee and got the whole experience. Dana let us try wines were we not sure about and did not force us to taste ones we knew we would not like. She made each wine personal. They tasted great and had great names. We also got to sample horseradish cheese..terrific with Cuyohoga and a relish. I like wine tasting but it is refreshing when the winery gives you more if you are willing. The wine freezes are to die for!
The manager at Sparkling ponds really has excellent customer service. She provides you with free sampling from top to bottom of all their wines. She has sampling of different food items that go along with the different wines. It provides you a sample of how the wine tastes with the different items. She raises the bar for everyone to compare to what zesty customer service that she provides. Highly Recommend visiting Sparkling Ponds..
Sparkling Ponds isn't a large winery, but the quality of the wines is amazing! The tasting is well organized, informational, and fun. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. We'll definitely be back!
Joanna organized our See Erie tour and we loved our visit to the Sparkling Ponds Winery. The wine slushie was amazing! It is the perfect treat for a summer day! We even got to sample horseradish cheese and Mulfaletta. Both were amazing!
