ripley museum

Mother and I went to the RIPLEY village Christmas tour. The first stop and ticket purchase was this museum. It has been newly arranged and labeled. Each room was topic oriented i.e. Civil war n locals and other wars. Old dolls n toys room. To hear the history of RIPLEYs very own death carriage with original basket and their first water pumper of course horse drawn. I'll say no more so you can visit.

For those interested in history, this museum is a must visit. It contains a replica of an old fashion kitchen, items such as a gift given to a slave on her wedding day, doll collections, presidential letters and much more.
