We make it a point to be in Dillon on a Friday on our summer trips to Colorado. They have a wide variety of vendors, from fresh fruits and vegetables to arts and crafts. Be sure to get there early, it takes a while to get through all the booths.
Held every Friday from the middle of June to Labor Day weekend, this is one of the best local markets. There is a great mix of fresh foods, unique crafts, art work and clothing. The market is held rain or shine. Over 100 vendors with local produce and flowers.
After many summers here, we decided to visit the market. Good selection of items. Interesting foods (pepper jelly, basil pasta, smoked salmon, olive oils, etc...). Lots of produce. Plenty of lunch selections; nice park to eat at.
Open only in summer. Many different booths selling fresh fruit and vegetables, baked goods, home made sandwiches and other interesting foods; plus arts and craft, smoked salmon and much much more. Usually there is entertainment in park next to market. Market covers 2 blocks plus a parking lot and spills into nearby streets, so take your walking shoes. With the mountain views and all the activities, you will forget how far you have walked. Look for parking spot along Dillon's main street
Not to be missed, great value & great variety of local products . Many venders with local produce, honey and craft items
I was impressed. They had produce, local business from the surrounding towns. I bought jerkey, pasta, veggies and was able to get my boys lunch and dessert. They also had local artist, musician
Quality of the food, fresh produce, and the jewelry, clothing & everything makes this a "must go" for me each summer. It is a beautiful drive from anywhere to Dillon with its gorgeous lake, many hiking trails and free concerts and nature nights. Don't forget your bike! The whole family will love it.
The Dillon Farmer's market is held every Friday in the primary Lake Dillon Parking Lot. Look for baked goods, fresh veggies, fresh fruits, and some crafts.Farmer's markets in Summit and Eagle Counties seem to flourish, and tend to be held Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. There really are no deals at these markets, but the farmer's markets represent our European heritage, and we do enjoy our purchases.
