This is a beautiful campground with some very pretty sites directly on the lake. Our original booking was for one of the primitive sites and upon our arrival it was A LOT smaller than expected (Room for maybe a tent but not nearly enough for a tent and 2 vehicles). After talking to the park ranger he allowed us to upgrade to a large pull through spot free of charge! The neighbors were extremely friendly and outgoing and an older gentleman held a Sunday service which was very nice. We will definitely be going back soon!

What a place to go and spend the day and get in a little fishing to boot. Great place for the kids too.

This is a great place to come out to when you need a little peace and quiet. Canoe rentals, a nice little lake, fishing, trails, camp ground. I really enjoy this as my quiet place while working here in Dillon.

This is a free day-use park and pay camping. It's always clean and well maintained and has good camping sights; some on the little lake. It's a great place for overnight camping with walking trails and a ~40 acre lake with bass and breem. We often head there for a Sunday afternoon picnic. Great place!

We loved this place! Our camp site was right by the lake and it was such a beautiful view. We will definitely be going back.

I have to start from the phone call when I made the reservations. (Park Ranger) David was so nice in helping me out with all my questions regarding the campsites and boat rentals. You could tell he enjoyed what he does. The drive to the campground does give you the feeling that you are driving to the middle of nowhere especially when you start to pass the cows. When we arrived we were checked in quickly, it did not take much time at all and again David was very friendly and helpful pointing out what the camp had to offer and where our site was located at. Our site which was #10 (was PERFECT) right on water. This campground is small but perfect. It has dirt/sand roads and very shaded lots. Since our lot was located near the lake we did have a lot of mosquitoes (so bring the bug spray). The lots are mostly sand based which we noticed our Class C slipped off the leveling boards because they sank in the sand. Lake was a decent size to putt around in a small jon boat, canoe or kayak. Boat rentals was affordable and we liked that this was offered and didn't cost us a weeks pay to rent for the day ONLY $20 for all day! There is no place to swim, so this campground is more for a relaxing and fishing kinda weekend. If you bring your own boat no gas motors allowed. There is a boat ramp to put your boat in with trolling motor. This is also open to public too. There is a small playground and walking trails. In the front office they have books and movies to check out at NO cost. Campground was quiet and peaceful. We will for sure be going back!

It seemed like we were driving to the middle of nowhere, and then we arrived at the picturesque Little Pee Dee State Park. We camped only one night during our roadtrip, but it was a great site, and the facilities were clean and in working order. Would stay again! Would also like to stay longer some day to do some exploring.

This little park is great for outdoor activities. It has a picnic area, place to play volleyball, camping area, great place to fish, and boat rentals. The fishing is what I like best. I personally love going there to fish. They just built a dock out over the water that is nice to go out on and relax. Place is overall really nice. Donations are needed to keep the park up. I always give to it when visiting. Hope everyone else does too.

It has a boat launch for the Little Pee Dee River and sand dunes of bright white sand in the middle of a forested area. Cypress and tupelo trees grow near the water and turkey oaks and long leaf pines in the sandy area. The park has nature trails and a lake for fishing and canoeing. They rent canoes, kayaks and fishing boats. The camping area seems inviting.

We found this park to have lunch, and it was a good pick. The admission is free but there is a donation box to greet you when you drive in. Once you drive down to the boat dock, there are a couple playgrounds and picnic benches right by the Pee Dee River. It is very shaded and clean. The river is very nice to look at and there is a bridge with a small trail that you could walk around the river. It also seemed that there were available canoe and boat rentals on the river. There are also primitive campgrounds. Overall a very pretty state park with great scenery to look at!
