Nice way to spend an afternoon. Well worth the time and money. Lots of autos. Even had a Delorian (from Back to the Future fame). It's a little something extra to enjoy while taking in the sights of downtown Greeneville.
We visited the museum as part of a Jaguar Concourse weekend. I had little interest before we went in and was just accompanying my husband as cars aren't usually my "thing". However, I have to say this little museum was very interesting as they had much more than just cars to show. There were many "period" elements to the displays and very interesting pieces of information. This is a wonderful stop for a family or just someone who wants to learn a bit about the history over the years. Well worth the time!
If you love cars and are in Greeneville this is a must see! Excellent displays cars are in pristine condition! Well worth the five bucks.
Our family with teens enjoyed our recent visit. There were some gorgeous American muscle cars, race cars from a variety of eras, and some crazy one of a kind builds. I liked seeing the replica of the old gas station with its horse-drawn gas wagon. The kids had fun picking out the cars they most wanted to drive. A fun visit!
The old cars were displayed well with quite a variety. We arrived just as the place was closing but they staff were helpful in letting us walk through on our own.
Fun place to visit for a car enthusiast. So many old car to look at and the owner/historian is a really nice fellow who will talk about cars all afternoon.
What a treasure in a small town! Some really fabulous cars in a totally walkable space. There is even a 50s style rentable party room. This is fun for old and young ones.
Took my 6 year old grandson for something differnt to do on a hot summer day. We enjoyed the diversity and history this little museum had to offer. He couldn't wait to vote for his favorite car. The staff was incredible. It was time well spent.
We found this museum on tripadvisor while searching for things to do during a visit to relatives living in a nearby town. What a great find! My husband is obsessed with old cars, so we stop at every car museum we can while traveling; and while this one is among the smallest we've visited, we still enjoyed it very much. There is a wide variety of interesting cars, many of which we'd never seen in a museum before. The price was extremely reasonable ($5 for adults, with children 10 and under admitted free) -- so our family of four was able to visit for just $10! The elderly gentleman working that day was also very welcoming, making a point to engage our children and check on us often to see if we had any questions he could answer. I would highly recommend stopping by this museum if you're in the area!
Great variety of cars & very well laid out.Building originally was Dodge dealership. Many rare items on display.
This is an awesome car museum. You will see some great historical cars including one of Dale Earnhart's race cars! I absolutely loved it!
A lot packed into a small (40 cars) museum. Rare to see a 1 of 1 car (1915 Van Blerck Speedster) Very informative and friendly.
We just happened to see the sign advertising this car museum as we traveled through Greeneville, TN. What a treat! There are about 40 cars in what was once an auto dealership. All makes and models with other memorabilia. There were several very unique cars. There's even a small diner area to sit in. No food served though. You can vote for your favorite car! The cost of $5 was well worth the visit.
The City Garage Car Musuem has a great little area to have meetings, reunions, or just fun lunches or meals with friends. Bettye Anne and her staff are great to work with and you can enjoy more than 40 antique cars, displays and more while you are there!
