Right off the highway this campground on a small lake was a huge surprise. I was able to get a yurt (see pictures) and it was more fun to stay in then a hotel. The campground is well thought out with a great full service bathroom that has showers. Many campsites look like they handle RV's well and tent campers (like me) will enjoy the lake view sites. I got a yurt since with the cost of my yurt I got electric heat, a microwave, it had a deck with a gas grill, patio chairs, two bikes to ride around the campground, and a canoe reserved on the dock for your use. It was nice to toss my sleeping bag and pillow on one of the beds and be set for the night. I don't think all the yurts had these features (I think they have four here) but mine was a bargain at roughly $70 since I think it can sleep 6 people or more, the other ones were cheaper. In my pictures you can see the bike and canoe equipment hanging on the wall inside the yurt. The lake was quiet since they don't allow motors on boats and I saw people fishing. The campground staff was friendly and they had a nice little store that carried basic items you might have forgot and some snacks. With this place being in-between Boise and Lewiston I will stay here again since it was so quiet compared to a hotel. There's always something nice about waking up in the woods. I highly recommend the experience for a day visit to picnic or camping overnight.
