The grounds are tranquil and the gift shop has so much to choose from and learn about lavender. The owners and shop assistant are very nice and helpful!

Did not go to the farm. Murski Homestead stocks their lavender soap for their guests. I loved that soap. I bought some and brought it home.

The Lavender Farm has a very lovely gift shop and it is a very beautiful part of the country but by all means this is just a small stop to be incorporated on the way to somewhere else. I did not take children and would not really recommend it for kids or teens as they would be extremely bored. You don't really farm Lavender. You plant it and leave it - small kids would enjoy the outdoors just for the sake of being away from the city. Or you could take a picnic and be there all day. Point is it was not what we expected, it's a distance from Houston and I would go see it along with other things to do in Chappell Hill and/or Brenham. Not a one place destination in my opinion.

Lavender is great for keeping away mosquitoes. I learned about the practical uses of lavender and what a great help it can be to help you relax and sleep. Enjoyed it.

This wonderful farm was off from FM 2193 and FM 1155. Roadside signs guided us right to it, even without a map or GPS. Parking was on a dirt driveway and on the lawns. Sadly for us, there wasn’t all that much to see on the farm since it was still early springtime and the lavender wasn’t yet in bloom. The farm had very cordial and knowledgeable proprietors. Their small store offered a good selection of sachets, soaps, sprays, lotions, and other lavender products. On the grounds, picnic tables were under the trees. Clean and convenient outdoor restrooms were available near the picnic area. We most liked the farm’s hospitality. We only wished the lavender had been in bloom.

We group of 3 families visited the farm on the labor day weekend. The place is lush and serene, so is the surrounding area. we had fun taking pictures on the lavender farm and shopping at the cute little gift shop. we had packed a picnic and enjoyed it in their gazebo. had a lovely day with friends and family!!

We enjoyed cutting fresh lavender, shopping and making lavender baskets! This event will be on our calendar for next year!

I was visiting family in Houston and we decided to take the kids to the Lavender Festival. I was slightly disappointed that there were no rolling fields of lavender, but only a small plot of land with maybe 100 plants. We did cut a few bunches to dry and visited the gift shop, which was way too crowded to actually take any time looking. Did buy some Christmas gifts at one of the other vendors. It was worth the trip which was about an hour away from the house. If you like lavender, this is a nice place to visit.

We stopped here during the lavender festival. It was very hot and fairly crowded. You get to cut fresh lavender bunches for $5 a bunch which was fun. The shop has several different types of lavender products from tea, honey, oils and scrubs. Prices are decent. There were about 10 additional vendors at the festival with homemade type crafts. Most were over priced. If you are in the area it's a fun short stop. When the festival is not going there's not much to do, though. Just wander amongst the plants for 5 minutes and then visit the shop to buy lavender products.

Chappell Hill Lavender Farm and Windy Winery are two of the destinations for the annual Lavender Festival which is held every 2nd weekend of August. Don't miss it next year!!!

The lovely owners of the Chappell Hill Lavender Farm allow visitors to stroll through their peaceful lavender fields, complete with a gazebo and mini lake. You can bring a picnic down there to eat, but you must first check out the gift shop.The gift shop contains everything from lavender hand sanitizer to cookbooks and lavender jams. I recommend the lavender massage oil and culinary lavender. They also have lovely little lavender plants for sale that grow very well in the Texas heat! This is a cannot miss if you're in the Brenham/Chappell Hill area. It's easy to follow the signs from downtown Chappell Hill (FM 1155), about 10 minutes north of town. It's a gorgeous drive when the wildflowers are in bloom, too.

Chappell Hill Lavender Farm is a place of tranquility. We visited when the lavender was blooming. The grand children and I had a lovely time filling our baskets with the lavender we cut. We also enjoyed walking to the gazebo and finding treasures in the little gift shop. I was not sure how the kids would like this stop on our trip, but they all gave it high marks.

Open just a few months each year, this Lavender Farm is a delightful stop for young and old alike....especially during cutting season or during Festival time! Rolling pastures, fields of vibrant lavender and a darling little shop with lavender products of all kind. Though Texas is not typically known for Lavender as France is, this little Farm proves it otherwise!

Fairly expansive grounds with beautiful lavender plants. Quaint small shop with warm hospitable ambience. I enjoy lavender so I purchased some of their local handmade products. Noticed gazebo in the distance near water tank/pond and some people viewing the plants. Due to time limitation on our scenic drive it was an interesting short stop.

I have been here twice in the past - was very hot so would be nice to see it a little later in the year. I enjoyed and still enjoying the lavender products I have.
