My wife and I spent a weekend shopping and dining in the Legends Village and the Plaza. The Legends offers dozens of shopping and dining options. An outdoor mall with outlet stores and lots of shops, you can spend all day shopping and still not make it into every one. There are multiple dining options and plenty of entertainment to choose from. Visit the Legends website on the internet to get a full view of each shopping store, dining establishment, and entertainment option. The movies theater is very clean and well run. There are also several hotels within a 2-3 minutes from the mall. This is a nice way to spend a day or a weekend.
Was a great place a few years ago but losing its luster. Always enjoy the athletic stores but looks like the village is starting to lose some of its retailers.
We went to Legends in KC for New Year's Eve to shop & eat. We got a lot if good bargains & got a lot for our money. Then we ate at Jazz. Never been there before. Good atmosphere, good service & good food. Would recommend to anyone.
My boyfriend and I decided to come to Kansas City, Kansas to go to the Legends and do some shopping. It was the first weekend in January so it was very cold but I love coming to the Legends because they have great Outlet stores and awesome restaurants
We went to the Legends shopping center and found some great buys at the Gymboree and Crazy 8s Outlet stores. They have children's clothing up to size 14. The shopping center was a bustling place and we truly enjoyed our visit.
Great outlet mall with all of my favorite stores. THe only drawback was some of the stores prices didn't seem as good as I have seen elsewhere, but a very nice mall.
Go during happy hour where appetizers are half price. The Thai Chicken Pizza is unbelievable and the tower of onion rings are the best.
I always find good deals here. I only dock it a little cuz the bathrooms are so dang far away from each other & it's an outdoor mall so it got a lil chilly. I haven't been to the movie theater here but I've heard it's awesome and they Serve food while you're watching the movie. I've heard it's an awesome experience.
Legends shopping mall has just about everything you could imagine wanting to do. It is a open air mall and the day we visited was a perfect October day. They have seating for when you need a break! It will take a full day to see every store.
My wife and I love to stroll the Legends shopping center and watch the eclectic mix of people. We went out for our Anniversary celebration this week. First we enjoyed an awesome steak at Longhorn Steakhouse, then went for a stroll on the Yellow Brick Road through the Legends Shopping Center. We truly enjoy watching and waving to families from a wonderful mix of cultures out doing the same thing and the kids playing in the fountains are always a hoot. Then we headed over to Sheridan's for a "Razzle Dazzle" to round out our evening.
This outdoor mall was amazing! I can't wait to take the kids and enjoy some whole family time at this mall with everything all in one place! I have never seen an outdoor mall and I was impressed and will go back!
I went to Legends in August with my mom and son. We followed the yellow brick road and it led us to such far away places as Hot Topic, PacSun, SportsNutz, Nike Factory, Under Armour, and adidas Outlet. I went here looking for some Sporting Kansas City gear, but they didn't have much, and what they did have wasn't discounted like I'm used to seeing at outlets. We did buy a shirt for my son at PacSun.I wished we had more time so we could have ate at T-REX Cafe. 8 years later and there are still people that want their picture taken outside the cafe with the dinosaurs. The Cheeseburger in Paradise restaurant is now closed so don't bother making a trip to go there. These Outlets are popular so be prepared to walk a lot, especially from your likely parking spot far, far away. The inner loop road closest to the mall is hard to drive all around since you have to yield to constant incoming traffic that always seems to want to turn left, and in front of you. Stick to Village West Parkway, find a section of the mall you want to park in, park, and walk. It was very hot the day we went so if that's an issue for you, you might want to park in the garage.Legends is just an ordinary, old outlets shopping center. The real prizes are what's around it such as the Kansas Speedway, Sporting Kansas City, Schlitterbahn Water Park, Great Wolf Lodge, and Community America Ballpark (T-bones baseball) just to name a few.
Awesome shops, so many options and great food. Loved the food at the TeXas Longhorne Steakhouse....Had a wedge salad and the 23 OZ porterhouse, more than enough to share.
This is a huge mall with so many stores in and around it. There are many larger name brands but be careful NOT all are outlet stores. I would say only 1/2 are outlet. There is a good variety of stores and places to eat.
There is more than an ample opportunity to find bargains on Name Brand items and spend more money than you intended. Be prepared to walk some. It's worth it. There are several eating establishments directly in Legends and also nearby.
