ceasers head state park

We did a quick "hike" around Ceasers Head. Good views. Kids loved going through the Boulder walkway.

My husband and I visited Ceasers Head State Park to attend a wedding at the Pretty Place Chapel. It was by far the most beautiful wedding ceremony I have attended, in terms of scenery. The Chapel is open to the public when not reserved for weddings, and showcase an expansive view of the mountains -- a truly breathtaking sight, and well worth the winding drive to the top!

This was first time visiting the Casears Head State Park in upcountry, SC. The main area was great with a wonderful gift shop & knowledgeable staff. Hiking maps were available as well & also went & hiked while there. Can't wait to go back & try some of the other trails.

We stumbled upon this place after a recommendation from a park ranger at cowpens military park. If you are traveling on route 11, definitely take a side stop and check out this place. It's a windy road to the top but the view from the lookout is gorgeous. Well worth the winding road!!!! So glad we did it!!!

This attraction of mountain views on a hazy day is less than perfect, but if you are lucky enough to get a clear day, this is a nice place to visit. There is a set of metal stairs through the rock that gives a different perspective of nature.There is also a little gift shop close by, which is fun to visit.
