I was a bit hesitant to take my 11-yr old and her friends here. The staff was very helpful, though, from the first inquiry as to the suitability of having her party here, to the event itself. I was glad some of her older cousins and uncle came with us, though, to help solve all the clues. There is a 'doctor' that accompanies your group to help point you in the right direction when you become stuck with a clue. The zombie was great; stayed in character the whole time (except when it was over; she took the time to talk with the girls a little). It was appropriately difficult, and the zombie made it exciting. We had 9 people in total, and it was just right. The full 12 may have been a little too crowded.

I was in the first group to experience Trapped In A Room With A Zombie in DC! I came out making a bunch of new friends. This is a great event if you're looking to something new to do on a date night, a birthday party, a family outing, or a fun night with new and old friends. I would definitely recommend it even though I got eaten by he zombie at the end!

Absolutely amazing! Being in a situation where you solve puzzles while avoiding a dangerous zombie teaches you some unexpected things about yourself and your friends that you won't experience at a movie theater or mini golf. We still can't stop talking about it. Saw this as a groupon, but would definitely pay full price to go back again for another shot at escape. What a challenging and exciting way for you to use your BRAAAAAINS!!!
