Not much to see, some old stone and concrete works that were used to mount guns and an old tower. Small picnic area but ruined by kids spray painting everything.

Peaceful, quiet, and the idea that at one point in history i am standing in a place that was used to defend a young country is an outstanding opportunity 15 minutes from home. Do we take time to see our countries history in our backyard

My kids and I were looking forward to checking this out, but left disappointed nothing exciting to talk about. A tower like structure, picnic tables and overgrown grass is what we really saw. I'd skip it!

The park is on the highest point on the peninsula and the view is breathtaking. Unfortunately, people have put graffiti on the walls of the fort that have survived the years. It is a real shame that it was defaced in this way because there is some real history there. It's also a nice location for a picnic.

Fort Revere has a wonderful history, but the Fort now is showing signs of age and vandalism. There's graffiti on most of the exterior and interior walls, that takes away from what the Fort actually represents. On a better note, the view from the Fort is breath taking! One can literally see all of Hull, as well as Boston Light. It really is a sight to behold.

This was a very unique experience. In all my travels I have never seen anything like it. Exploring the area we came across this old fort, not knowing it was there. The Old Water Tower is what caught our eye 1st. Fabulous structure by the way, closed to the public. The concrete remains of the fort overlooks some outer harbor islands. What a beautiful view & nice area for a picnic. Except for one young couple it was all but deserted. The fort is a series of concrete rooms & tunnels below ground level, entirely covered with Graffiti. The site was fairly clean that day, no smell, just Graffiti covering the walls & ceilings. As a photographer I was thrilled and yet disturbed at the same time. I would not allow dogs on the site, but I would like to go back in the dark with a flashlight! Spooky! This place had everything I enjoy, a little history, the water, a view & a place to take pictures.

We bring all of our visitors to Fort Revere as it is interesting and played an important role in the defense of Boston harbor. The Fort overlooks the harbor islands and provides a spectacular view of the surrounding area. The massive fortifications are still intact and show how the defenders lived 100 years ago. Unfortunately much of the place is covered with graffiti and needs to be better maintained. The original water/watch tower is still there, but access has been prohibited for several years. Overall, the Fort is worth the trip and is free!

I enjoyed seeing this park just would like some guideness. I felt like some history was here unmarked. Perhaps time of year.

The Fort Revere Park was nice to drive up to and see. It houses the remains of two seacoast fortifications. All that is left is the concrete structure. Would have been nice if it was done up with cannons, etc., as when it was being used as a fort. The view of the harbor from here is good for some pictures.

While visiting the Hull Lifesaving Museum, a "local" recommended we check out Ft Revere Park. Incredible views! Sadly, the remains are covered with graffiti, but even that adds a bit of artistic flair. I just wish there was more information re: the history of the Fort readily available onsite. In this age of smartphones, though, it didn't take long to "read all about it." ;-) I agree with the other posters... pack a lunch and enjoy the views.

This is a Revolutionary War fort built to protect the harbor and continued into WWII. Unspoiled by excessive tourism. To food stands or gift shops here. Bring a lunch and a blanket a watch the world go by. A good camera is a must!

This fort, which has magnificent views of the Atlantic Ocean and Boston Harbor, was an integral spot for watching for the enemy during the Revolutionary War. Fort Revere Tower is worth climbing the winding stairs to the top, you will never see views like this anywhere else.Kids love playing in the area, there are spots to have a picnic lunch and an amphitheater where movies and concerts take place throughout the summer. Well worth the out of the way drive to see it. It's about 3-4 miles from Nantasket Beach.

The views are spectacular from this point! Pack a picnic basket or get takeout from The Red Parrot or Jake's and have a relaxing visit. Bring your camera for photos of the ocean, bay and scenery

The fort itself could be full of surprises, but unfortunately the local teens use it as a hang out and spray paint all over the buildings and sidewalks. According to a couple that was there, they city had recently cleaned it up but was unable to prevent it from happening again. My son, age 13, found it interesting, and anyone that has teenagers knows that's almost impossible. :)

The views were magnificent, especially of Boston Light. Park service needs to do some trimming of trees to give you a better perspective of what the views were like when this was an active installation. Get rid of the graffiti! Worth seeing.
