Nice things. Interesting. Alternatively tasteful. Agreeable staff. Seemingly fair prices. Easy parking.
Sign of the Sun came to be in the early 70s (maybe even the late 60s), when everything was peace and love, man. People were into wild tapestries for their dorm room walls and incense and mystical crystals and candles and such. They loved looking at posters of Jimi Hendrix, while spinning Bob Dylan on the turntable and maybe smokin' a little of the gange while relaxing. That was great in 1972. But it's 2014 now, and unless you're into hipster/hippie retro, the Sign of the Sun has little appeal. They're still selling granny dresses and square glasses, perfumed oils and other hippie essentials. So, if you're a middle-aged or elderly hippie who has fond memories of trippin' at Woodstock, this is the place for you. But if you don't have the bread, man, you can look, but you cannot touch. This is a business, after all. What I like about Sign of the Sun is its quaintness and the fact that I can get stoned just on the smell of the place. That's so cool, man. Heck, yeah....
Love this place I go all the time its very friendly and the workers are always happy I find great gifes for my family at good prices
This venue has many unique gifts that will please the members of your family and friends alike. This is located on a one way side street in down town Waterville, Maine. Take the time to look over their merchandise. Be prepared to part with your money.
I grew up in Waterville, Maine. I haven't been here in years, but I always enjoyed finding unique articles of clothing, jewelry, and other items. There were always so many beautiful items to consider and choose between. Definitely a place to go for those who want a unique shopping experience.
