umf art gallery

The Art Gallery at the University of Maine at Farmington is located in the heart of the campus. It seems to be located in a remodeled old house and looks quite modern inside. It is a small gallery and doesn't normally have a permanent collection of any sort on display, unlike the much larger museums at Colby and Bowdoin Colleges. It functions more as a temporary exhibition showcase for a variety of Maine artists, including scupltors, painters and photographers. The building has two floors and admission is free.
