This off road driving is so cool. First you go through a training course to lean how to operate the Jeep and all of its capabilities over various terrain. Then you head out to the woods. There are trails going everywhere and there is no way you could do it without the guides. They are great! What a bumpy ride, I need to see a chiropractor. Great fun.

This is a terrific activity for older teens both with and without a drivers license. Our kids enjoyed their instruction with Tony who was knowledgeable and really easy going. After going through the instructional course (which looked fun and not at all like "class", they set out on a ride on the property. My son had his go-pro which was perfect bc the Rubicon jeep had a go pro mount on the hood! All licensed drivers get a turn driving. Perfect!$75/ person may seem like a lot, but you get about an hour and a half of jeep time. Since we had three going plus the instructor, no one else went in on our vehicle. Excellent activity!!!

Very nice intro 101 course followed by an hour+ of intermediate trail riding, lockers are used occasionally. Nice Jeeps, nice course, nice price. Will do again.

Matt our instructor was fabulous. The training course was oh so fun and we off-roaded through lots of mud, water and downed trees. The Rubicon jeep was wicked good and we had a ball. Highly recommended.

I went along mostly for the ride! I drove the adventure training course, and that was it. My husband loved the driving though - state-of-the-art vehicle, great instructor, and challenging off-road course on-property. There had been a lot of snow recently, so the mud and deep waterholes made it more fun (for him, more nervous for me). We were lucky and no one else was booked that day. You pay per person and can be packed into a vehicle with a couple of other drivers, significantly shortening your driving time, and requiring you to change positions in the car in ankle-deep muck. I'd recommend paying to rent the whole car, even if you're a couple. You'll appreciate the time and space in the long run.

If you haven't tried the off road driving at Nemacolin, do so during your next visit. Doesn't matter how old you are because it's something that you will never forget and the instructors help you through the course. So much FUN. Thank you Nemacolin Off Road Driving Academy.

The Jeep Rubicons are new. This experience was well worth the money. The instructor was great and the trails are challenging.

Matt is the best instructor EVER. Ask for him if you can. I was pretty nervous and within a half an hour he had this little old mom driving like a tough guy!

My family just did a ride along experience with a Nemacolin driver which was only $75 total for up to 4 people in the car. It was a very fun experience for everyone in the car. It was also a great way to see what it was like and determine if it would be fun to do the experience again as the driver which is $75 per person. I would recommend this to anyone how likes a driving adventure

more challenging than you would guess. I decided not to be the driver but went in the car with a 17 year old and his dad. I thought we might tip over several times but our instructor said it never happens. It was exciting especially for teenagers.

Competent instruction in an amazing off-road vehicle (Jeep Rubicon). Left me with a new respect for capabilities of these vehicles. We learned basic techniques on a practice course, and then put them into action on a challenging off road trail through the woods, with steep climbs, boulder strewn tracks, and deep mud pools to traverse. Great fun.

instructor was very young but very knowledgable and patient. this was fun!

We did the ride along. I'm so glad. First, half an hour was plenty of time and second, I don't think we would have attempted on our own what the driver felt comfortable doing. Our driver was fun and friendly and this was a great time.

Whatbis better for a guy than to 4 wheel in someone else's ride through the beatiful mountains. Awesome experience.

Jeep off road was lots of fun and very professional depending on driving instructor. One of ours, mike, was very good. He took time to explain what you needed to do and how to achieve it. our second instructor was a young guy who never spoke. Very unprofessional and acted like he did not even want to be there.
