Brings you back in time. Games two and three times a day, you just walk in and watch a game. The nostalgia can get you here
A real treat to see in person brings back old time Americana wish more parks are made like this one.
This field is still in use today and we were lucky enough to see a game during our visit. It is just a short walk from the HOF in the center of town.
Thoroughly enjoyed visiting Abner Doubleday Field. It is a neat old ballpark that can be reserved by teams. It gives you that "major league feel" in what could be a nice minor league stadium.
We loved seeing this beautiful baseball stadium where baseball (as we know it) was born. It's lovely to see, fabulous to recognize, and located only 2 blocks from the Baseball Hall of Fame.
going into this was like a step back in history. The old seating made sitting there feel like you were a part of history immaculate-maintained facility. A must see during your visit
As a baseball fan, I like any ballpark or field. Despite the snow in the area, I ventured around the park and got a good look at it.
While waiting to meet friends on a Sunday morning we watched a game being played. It looked to me like it was a "Dream Weekend" game as most of the players were older although there were a few young guys. They had umpires and the scoreboard was working and that throw from 3rd to 1st is a "killer".
to see the first baseball field where the game began was nostalgic. walking on the same field that great baseball players walked made
We were lucky enough to walk in on a baseball game in progress, by two local teams. Listening to the players in the dugouts, rooting their teams on, was so reminiscent of the old days.
We stopped and watched a game during a break from walking around Cooperstown. Great place to watch a game.
We really wanted to visit the field but, it was locked. We were able to get in to view the sight from the stands.
This is an old school field and we enjoyed watching the legends play baseball. There is not much to it but it is just good old baseball
good old fashioned family fun! We were lucky enough to catch a game being played by local players and loved every minute of it.
This is a beautiful gem of a ballpark and is where they take pictures of the Baseball Hall of Fame inductees every year. Baseball wasn't really invented here, but it should have been!Teams (both adult and youth) play games here so there should be a game you can watch free from the well-kept stands.
