We just stopped in to kill abit of time. The place was clean and it was as advertised. I would go back but nothing out of the ordinary.
Great place to spend some time with the girls.race cars a lot of fun but the bumper boats were the best.Golf was not good mashines were ok.Not to much money for the morning.
Our baseball team went there for an afternoon of fun. The only fun activity was the Go-Karts. It is expensive and old looking place.
Right near Dreams Park this place is at the perfect location to lure 12-year-olds looking to take a break from baseball. While the kids enjoyed themselves be sure to bring your wallet as this place is NOT cheap. The park is also in need of some serious upgrades, looks like it hasn't been updated in 20 years. But I must say the kids did have a good time on the go-karts and mini-golf. There are other things to do too, but the kids we were with stuck to those things.
we hit this park to break up an off day from baseball...kids did go karts and mini golf and had a good time..parents relaxed with a few beers while the kids played...the kids played laser tag as well and had fun...pretty good day all in all
The park is located right next to Dreams Park. It is fun enough but not anything special. The owners are super nice. They have golf, laser tag and video games.
Disappointed this place was closed in the off season- the week immediately following Labor Day weekend. Many local places close, I didn't think or look in to if this was before going so that's my own fault. Passed by it when leaving Council Rock Brewery (restaurant) and The Penguin ice cream shop (also closed in off season).
This is too expensive and not very creative. How could it be called a fun park. Not very much fun. No thank you. Not for us.
This is a continuation of the visit to Cooperstown with my 10 year old grandson. Needless to say we stopped at the not so fun park. For 25 dollars you get 5 choices of what you want to blow your tickets on. Basically it's 5 bucks per ride. Go for either the go carts or batting cages. Stay away from the bumper boats, I have had more excitement watching grass grow. Our visit was a Saturday in July at about 5 pm. The picture I included of the parking lot shows 5 cars........they are the employees cars. Notice there are NO other cars. Sail right by this place!
Seasonal. Pricey. Poorly staffed. Inaccurately advertised as FUN park. Bumper boats are old, falling apart and smell terrible. Go carts are okay but also dated. Sub par at best. You will not get what you pay for.
Way overpriced. Definitely intended for tourists, not locals. We kept thinking there has to be more to this...but no, there isn't.
We only rode the go- karts. Not bad priced, we paid $24 for 4 people to ride the go-karts. The place is much smaller than what a thought would be, but overall we has fun.
The Cooperstown Fun Park must have been quite something when it was first opened, however, seemed quite worn-down upon our visit. We enjoyed the go-carts, but most of the bumper-boats were out of commission (only three boats could run at a time apparently) and the miniature golf course appeared unappealing/lacking excitement/scenery. Kudos does go to the park for making it so that younger children can ride in a two seater go-cart or the three-seater bumper boat (though apparently theres a weight limit). The staff was quite friendly and kind. Definitely hoping they revitalize the place, as I think if they added a bit more attractions for the little ones and spruced up the place a bit more, they'd get a lot more business and "fun times". I think we had rather high expectations perhaps going in, and the park being small and older simply didn't fit the expectations.
its okay the go carts were fun twice but once you went more you became aware of the problems. i got bumped and my steering wheel locked and sent me to the wall the staff is teenage boys so they know NOTHING. carts ran out of gas broke ect. bumper boats are run by the go cart staff they are not fun its in a merky pond they barely move and dont go fast. Laser tag is fun but breif and small. Dont buy the five items for $25 not worth it!
Could be fun for the kids, but the parents should stay far away. I've read other reviews about negative customer service and they pretty much sum it up. I don't think the people who run this place have a clue. The only reason it could possibly be in business is that it is a couple of miles from Cooperstown Dream Park which runs 1500+ families through a week. With regards to the Dreams Park, a real class operation from which the Fun Park could learn a lot from!
