Oscar's has gotten a lot of press, and all of it is well deserved. High quality smoked items, some very unique (pheasant, duck breast, venison sticks). Standard smoked meats, cheeses, fish, poultry as well. It's all they say it is. Go.

Once you stop at this great deli, smoke,cheese and meat market, your hooked. Excellent service,great products, and a true North Country attraction. Not to be missed!

A must try for anyone looking for ingredients for a simple lake-side meal. They have an assortment of freshly smoked meats, fresh meat, cheeses, preserved goods, and salads. They have bread, chips, etc as well. We stopped in for some preserved meats and cheeses to have for a casual dinner with a bottle of wine! Wonderful store and excellent hot garlicy dill pickles!!!!

As a type 1 diabetic who eats low carb this is the place to be. I'm also a huge meat and cheese fan. There are all types of stuff to load up on and pricing is reasonable. Check this place out if that is your thing. We will be going back again this week before we head home. Also, they have all types of cheese curds which excites me. Pickled eggs too!

It is understood that we stop at Oscar's on our way from New Jersey to our Adirondack vacation home. We pick up the provisions that we will need while we are in the Park. Then on the way home we buy the items that we want and those that our NJ neighbors have requested. Items like: Fresh smoked bacon, maple cured bacon, smoked Bleu cheese, aged cheddar cheese, ring bologna, smoked ham salad...and more.My wife never has to remind me to pull off the road at Oscar's, it's automatic.

I was a little boy when I first went to Oscar's. Oscar himself was still running it then. He would always cut a piece of cheese off the cheese wheel for me. The meats,fish and cheese are fantastic,and are in a lot of the best restaurants in the area.If you want to hear more about Oscar's,check some of Rachel Ray's show,as she goes there when she comes home to Lake George.Oscars is still run by the same family, with the same great food.One of our favorites is their smoked bacon.Lots of area people come to Warrensburg just to go to Oscar's,anyone who is visiting or just passing through Warrensburg will find it a worthwhile stop.

I usually stop here on my way home from Friends Lake Inn. There smoked products are great. I usually stock up on their ham, bacon and homemade sausages. I would highly recommend this store.

We stumbled on Oscar's a few years ago, and now make the 3-hour trip several times a year to stock up, and to buy Christmas gifts. Smoked cheeses - pieces of smoked cheddar, gouda, etc. AND the cheese spreads, which are not to be missed! Cheddar, cheddar with garlic (our favorites), cheddar with horseradish, cheddar with bleu cheese - once you've tried them, you'll be hooked! And because the containers are sealed, they can be stored unopened for several months.Smoked meats are fantastic as well! We stock up on kielbasa, bratwurst, and Canadian bacon. The refrigerated self-service case also has ham, bacon, and delicacies like smoked pheasant. The butcher counter offers a variety of fresh smoked meats, like pork loin, chops,various bacons, turkey, etc. They also make their own jerkey, which can purchased sealed (can be stored) or fresh (eat promptly).Finally, true lovers of cheddar cheese, you simply must try the 12-year aged cheddar. It's rich and smooth, with very strong cheddar taste but not the "bite" sometimes present in very well-aged cheddars. At $12.99/pound it's not cheap, but it's worth every penny. Sample that and the others and choose what suits you.Look for the big black-and-white pig out front...you'll be very glad you did!

Oscar's Adirondack Smoke House is a meat lover's paradise. You name it and they've got it...everything from homemade sausage, smoked boneless turkey breast, Delmonico Steak and smoked pork chops. Has cheese spreads available as well as a nice selection of crackers. Also, homemade pies. A nice place to get some snacks and make a tailgate picnic. Bought the smoked boneless turkey breast. Delicious! Also bought some double smoked bacon which I can't wait to try. Will be taking a large cooler next time. This is the same place recommended by Rachel Ray.
