This store was a wonderful find! Trinidad is an interesting little town, with some hidden gems and this is one of them! The owner was very interesting, friendly and talkative. She spent a lot of time talking with my son and helping him pick out items that he would like. He bought something with his own money and she gave him his own receipt, which he loved! The store sells a good variety of things, from beads, to scarves to jewelry to trinkets. The collection of beads is great for a store its size and the owner if very knowledgeable about her wares. The prices are a bit on the high end, but it is a small town and her items are good quality. I definitely recommend you visit!

My friend brought me into this cute little store because I make my living making and selling jewelry. There is a lot to look at here, both ready made jewelry and supplies for making your own pieces. I found the prices higher than I was willing to pay, but I understand Trinidad is an isolated little town with not a lot of choices in jewelry making supplies. Prices are going to be higher where there is little or no competition.There's a nice nook with a table. My friend says that's where the owner holds jewelry making classes. It might be fun to take a class here.As my friend and I were walking in, another lady rushed in, nearly pushing us out of the way to show something (a poster or a flyer) to the lady working behind the counter. The two then had a loud 10 minute or so conversation about family history before the woman behind the counter greeted us and said we should let her know if we needed any help. We left shortly after that. I wasn't all that impressed with the way we were treated (ignored).
