Balaji Temple @ Bridgewater is one of the very big temple and peaceful one to visit. I felt one of the wonderful place to worship and meditate. I visited here first when I was on a trip to Philadelphia last year. Still remember those days... Luckily I got transferred to Bridgewater this feb 15. I will be going to this temple very often. One thing is like on weekends it will be very crowded..Canteen food is really good here.

The temple is very beautiful and peaceful place to sit and meditate. Very well maintained.During my stay in the NJ for a business trip I craved for Indian food a lot and the canteen in the basement served some really authentic Indian food at a very very affordable/ reasonable price.

A beautiful Hindu Temple. No matter what faith or religion you follow when you come here you get a warm and welcoming feeling. It's a wonderful place of worship. God Bless!

Very big temple, with easy access from the main roads. The website is really helpful and lots of parking spaces. The temple is open until 8:30pm so the road to get there can be pretty busy after office hours. As a visitor, I felt immediately impressed by the different temples and the beauty of the place. Definitely worth a visit!

The temple is well located for access to all central nj residents. It is big and spacious. The construction work is a big put off but that is temporary. The place is well maintained. There are language classes for Hindi and other south Indian languages for kids. There are other cultural courses too.

Peaceful environment, Meditation, Similar people, Great ambience, nice service, overall experience was awesome. Helps for the Indians that are residing in the US to connect to their roots.

I have heard so much about this temple and wanted to see it first hand. It is really massive - but does not inspire a lot of spiritualism or divinity in mind as many other Hindu temple does. The roads are difficult to maneuver because of the constructions and mud. The inside of the temple is very dirty. There are shoes left right below the sign that says "Do not leave your shoes here."

It was a sunday and I didn't have anything better to do. I decided to visit this temple which is very close to the place where I stay.It's a work in progress status as new construction is going on around the temple. There are statues of multiple Hindu gods inside. Also the place inside is neat and peaceful. One can go there, offer some prayers and eat some nice food in the cafeteria.A must visit in Bridgewater, NJ for Indians.

One of the few Hindu temples in New Jersey. This place has been well maintained and has grown over the past couple of decades since its inception. They are also doing a huge expansion which is ongoing. Even if you are not Hindu and want to admire the architecture and/or want to meditate at this peaceful place, then you should definitely make the trip here.

I dont know what this is religious. May be Muslim or Hindu. But this is one of a good example that America has religious freedom whoever lives. Hallelujah! Amen

After arriving in US, The first visit was to this temple. It was so peaceful in spite of a huge crowd and a special pooja was being performed with so many devotees. All the Important daily prayed statues of the God's manifestation was installed. The writings on the wall was very inspiring.if one follows the writings there will be no sorrow in this world of materialism. indeed sought the blessings of the LORD. Again returned back to this holy place for a second time and this time after the prayer visited the cafetaria and the food is OK

Had a very Devine feeling sitting in the hall of the temple. Beautiful idols. Food in the cafeteria was also very authentic and taste.

This temple is very peaceful and It has a feel of true Indian Temple. For sometime you will forget that you are on foreign land.

This is one of the largest, grandest Hindu Temple in east coast (the other one is near Pittsburgh). Currently, it is undergoing expansion so you know. Before your visit, check the hours: M-F 8:30-11:30 am, 4:30-8:30 pm; weekend/holiday : 8:30-8:30 pm. Keep in mind, no shoes, photography and shorts are allowed. You don't need to pay to get in, but you can always donate. I was told unlike Hindu temple in India typically hosting only one God, this temple hosts many Gods and Goddesses. If you don't have any Indian friends to guide you around, bring a copy of the temple guide from http://www.venkateswara.org/TempleGuide.pdf. You will learn and appreciate more during your visit. There is also shop and cafeteria downstairs.Even though Hindu may not be your religion, one can still come to appreciate and experience.

Great place to worship Hindu gods. Fantastic option for food in the canteen at very reasonable price.
