We had a great time getting a little dirty. There were a few times that we got lost - the trails are not marked as well as they could have. The staff was very nice. We were definitely not experienced, so we needed to stick to level 1 & some level 2. There were a few trails that we needed to stay off of. I have a feeling it would have been even more fun if it was a little muddy. It was very dry when we were there, so our eyes seemed to get a lot of dirt in them even despite the glasses.

Other than some trail marks needed to be updated(turn here for X trail) the place is awesomedepending on your skill, you might want to stick to level 1 and 2, maybe 3 trails if you are starter. If you are experienced, carrying a ton of aftermarket parts on your 4 wheel toy, it should not be a problem what trails you choose. It helps if you stick to a group of experienced people, just ask anyone, most of the people is friendly enough to either point you in the right direction, or even guide you.The staff is very friendly and willing to explain any detail, or question you may have. Bathrooms are very clean, did not stay overnight but there is camping spots everywhere. Horseshoe bay is about 10 miles away, an awesome resort town. that's 2 for 1 if you are road tripping over there.

So I have never considered myself to be an Xtreme sportster but the trails at HF can be exactly that!!! New to wheeling but not new to 4wd. Living in the Houston area, mud trails are plentiful and this was my first wheeling experience and loved it. I didn't camp there but I am part of a Jeep group that was camping and wanted to stay a bit in the evening to have dinner and hang out. Plus, I was deer hunting at another location morning and evening. The reason I am saying this is that I didn't have all day to wheel on either Friday or Saturday. The park employee at the check in station was really understanding and worked with me on a fair(cheaper) price since I technically only had a few hours to enjoy the trails. I had also forgot my air compressor in my pickup and wouldn't you know it? They have a free air station with several air lines to bring you back up to pressure. I also found out that they rent dirt bikes and four wheelers. Not to mention the trails that can raise your "pucker factor" real quick. Enjoyed my time there and want to take the kids back with me.

We spent an entire day here with the family and our Jeep club. We are super beginners in off roading. The trails really aren't for beginners, but provided you have the right equipment and a knowledgeable group, you'll be fine. The paths are not marked very well and I can see how someone could get lost, but the trails were a BLAST!!! We were visited by guides a couple of times and they gave us directions and checked up on us...pretty cool. We did about 4-5 hours on the trails. We camped at the Area B (primitive camping). The grounds were clean, people were cool, plenty of room, very clean bathing areas, hot water at bathrooms. We had the kids with us and they enjoyed the trails and the facilities. We can't describe how much fun we had breaking our Jeep in! We will definitely be returning with our club. I would not recommend the trails for people who are brand new to off roading and aren't with a group.

They have primitive camping on site along with cabins and electric hook ups for campers. They have 100 thousand acres of pure trail riding. The trails range from easy to hard with everything in between to satisfy all skill levels of riding. The views hear are pretty amazing. Once you pick a spot you have to enjoy the spot to take in all the nature. They have 2 mud pits 6ft deep, very optimal for getting muddy. The staffing is very friendly and they don't have much limitations on what you can and can't do while out on the trails. You can get lost if you try to, but remember to bring plenty of water with you because you will work up a thirst. They have quad rentals on sight if you are interested in that. They have park rangers that patrol the main road and help out the crawlers if they get stuck. The main gravel road has a speed limit of 10 mph and is strictly enforced. You can schedule to ride during the weekday and have the park pretty much to yourself. Overall the experience is one of the best you can get in Texas wether it be rock crawling, mudding, quads, dirtbikes, or leisure driving hidden falls won't disappoint.

This is a great area to go ride on some ATV’s. It is very large with a lot of trails. My parents, girlfriend and I went there and rented the ATV’s for 2 hours. I would first like to say that 2 hours was not nearly enough for us and we would love to go back, but for the first time 4 hours may have been too much since they only rent in 2 hour increments. As for the rentals, I am only 20 y.o. I called 2 days prior and gave them my Credit Card number and reserved 2 ATV’s. One for my dad and mom and then one for my girlfriend and I. When we arrived we learned that there is a limit of 1 person per ATV so we had to rent 2 additional ATV’s. This did cost us an unexpected $180 dollars, but we did not have a choice because the other options were to have 2 people wait for 2 hours or to leave and pay $180 for cancelling within the 48-hour window. This is not stated on the site or anywhere on trip advisor. I would like to clarify it is one person per ATV. The gentlemen who helped us, Lance, was great. He gave us a quick walkthrough of how to operate the ATV and the best trails to go down since we are beginners. Shortly after starting though my ATV had an incident where it started to leak a considerable amount of fuel out the bottom and then it turned off and would not turn back on. My family went back to get help and I had to wait with the ATV. After maybe 30 minutes they returned and Lance let me use the ATV he rode up and called for a truck to pick up the broken one. This did take out of our time, some of which was given back to us at the end as we got lost and were not charged extra. Overall this is a great place to ride and to see if you enjoy it. There are some nice trails but some of it is quite rocky and bumpy so if you have a bad back or neck then it might not be the best. Also, it is quite pricey. After admission was paid it was just under $450 for 4 people. We are looking to do it again though.

Me and a few friends went out and rented ATV's. They gave us nice ATVs and a map and turned us loose. Be sure and bring a camera if you are looking for great hill country views.

You really can't be an Austin liberal and expect someone to hold your hand here. Rent a machine and go!!! Took my two young daughters there today. None of us have much atv experience, but we managed to have a great time anyway. We did not get lost, much. Part of the fun! Just turn around! Will come back for sure. Expensive? Yeah, but worth it.

We were there for a shooting competition, they have a beautiful range. We had our Jeep and enjoyed getting to and from the shooting facilities. Looks like a fun place to ride a ATV or 4X4 we will return. The staff keeps the place very clean.

We always have fun! Buy a pass and you can go during the week when the park is very quiet. You will almost have the place to yourself.

Hidden Falls Adventure Park is a 4-Wheel park for ATVs, motorcycles and Jeeps/other 4-wheel drive vehicles. I can only speak to the Jeep 4x4 trails but we have been 5 times in the last year with the most recent trip being last weekend. We always go in a group and I recommend going with someone who has been before. The trails are rated 3-6 with 3 being treacherous and 6 being downright ludicrous. Our Jeep is HIGHLY modified with everything know to mankind and there are still obstacles and trails that we don't go near. The trails are open until midnight on the weekends and add a new element of fun to the trip. We also have camped there on three different occasions and have had the best time. There are 3 different camping ares with primitive, improved (power and water) and RV camping. They also have cabins for rent. The improved and RV camping area has a very nice restroom and showering area. There is even free WiFi. This Park is for outdoor adventure enthusiasts! Please do your homework by checking out their great website BEFORE you go and I also recommend looking for YouTube videos. I also recommend making a reservation ahead of time. The folks at the front entrance are very helpful but if you break out there on the trails you are on your own. (Last trip our group helped winch a silly truck up the side of an obstacle after he broke his drive shaft).

My son heard about this place and we decided to try it. I had no idea how much the rentals were and they really looked like they were in rough shape. The rentals are different from the park. I did not find anyone from the rental company there. There were people coming in for the weekend who were very excited so it sounds like a great park. They were doing stuff for wounded warriors this weekend so I give them kudos for that but was very disappointed in the rental conditions and the high price of the rentals. Unless you have your own ATVs I would suggest skipping this adventure.

Backstory on my adventure. My boyfriend, is an avid off roader. He was an excellent and patient teacher. My ATV experience was zip. I've never ridden one, never been around them. He spent a couple hours with me in a field near his home before we decided to go on this trip over a three day weekend. Now, granted he is former military, a DOD Fireman for 3 years and an active municipal fireman for 13 years as well as an active 14 year state EMT so I felt like I was in good hands. He has two ATV's so we did not rent the ones the park has to offer. I do not proclaim how to read a map, however he has experience navigating with various terrain in regards to topographic maps. When we arrived at the park I spent a total of about 3 more hours ridding on some of the easy trails, yes even the kiddie trails lol. It was scary and stressful for me at first but he was relentless in making me repeatedly negotiate them over and over. After learning to read and preplan known terrain I was able to comfortably ride ALL of the beginner trails and navigate a few of the more challenging trails and having an absolute blast! Everyone we ran into was polite and very helpful. We are both from Texas, born and raised and enjoy camping. We are a different breed but genuine good hearted people. Now, I rarely write reviews because I simply don't have much time but when I saw the terrible review that 9 people found helpful I HAD to jump in and write one about my FIRST time experience in addition to respond to the ONLY (one) terrible rating. If you have never been to a 3,000 acre park that accommodates Motorcycle, ATV, UTV, 4x4 vehicles and rock crawlers, you may want to add someone to your group who has ridden an ATV and is willing to give lessons, navigate the park and understands what trails a beginner can navigate on an ATV. There are quite a few things I personally would not have done when looking at making a trip like this. First, if you have not been on trails similar to the park you are going to, you may want to consider choosing a different park. Second, if you have not ridden an ATV, as stated above, go through a safety course, which I did online, and ride a few ATV's at your local dealer, make a call to the rental company and see if they have one like you tried out so you are somewhat familiar on the bike. Third, learn how to read a map, buy a hand held gps, stay close to camp or find someone who can read a map or knows the trails to go with you (good ole buddy system). Lastly, research and watch videos via the internet and learn about the area the park you want to ride in. Reading the reviews will help when you call the park prior to your visit to questions you may have. Just showing up to any ATV park renting an ATV and riding for the first time at a whim may not be the best idea. Overall I personally had a wonderful time and we plan to go more often in the Fall.
