During a recent weekend trip to Glen Rose, we decided to visit this place. The museum has number of interesting displays and exhibits. However, the arrangement and layout of the displays makes it difficult to understand their significance, especially as it relates to the creation account. The most impressive display is a scale model of Noah's Ark, but even that lacks information about the significance of its construction. Having some understanding of the creation account, we were able to make sense of most of the displays but someone without any prior knowledge (on either side of the creation/evolution debate) would likely be confused at times.

Dr. Carl Baugh is a very intelligent man. I have learned so much from him.I went to Texas in 2007 just to see this museum, and hear Dr. Baugh. I am planning a second trip with the family in two months just to see the museum changes and share with the wife and kids.I would rather go to this museum that teaches truth with evidence than a secular museum full of mans theories, lies and no evidence.Make sure you call before you go to find when Dr. Baugh will be there and also find the hours.Very short hours here.

The satire of creationism was way too obvious. Needed to be more subtle. Too many claims like the earth was built only thousands of years ago, which is just outlandish. So not too many laughs, the jokes were just too blatant.

I've seen other reviews about this museum and think those were posted by some grumpy people. The museum was very inexpensive. We knew why we were going there. Their hours are posted and quite clear on when they are open and when the video begins. I'm glad we viewed the video first. It was very well done and gave a lot of information. The replica of the ark was nicely crafted. There is a lot of beautiful art in addition to the reason for the museum. It was well worth our time to go there.

Visited this place last summer and I must say they have a lot of convincing evidence displayed before you. It's a low cost of $5 for all ages. If you have any questions about creation or you are more towards evolution, take time to visit this place. It might make you change your mind. It's worth the time and money!

Its a small place, that only charges a small fee of $5.00. Its worth the money. There are more dino tracks, Torah Scrolls, and some artifacts from holy land archeology digs. Did see a great timeline of all the people of the bible that have been verified as being real.Upstairs is a building length replica of Noahs Arc thats incredible in detail and craftsmanship. There is a video, and a few exhibits. They are also building a biosphere inside that will replicate plant life from many eras. If you are interested in biblical times or archeology I think you will like it. If, like me, you thought you were going to get convincing evidence to prove creation vs evolution, its not there.

We stopped at the museum as a lark, one of those stops you make so you can say you've been there. It was quite interesting. As a student of cryptozoology, the fossils were fascinating. They have examples of human made tools imbedded in much older stone as well as fossil Bigfoot tracks, etc. The evidence of the blurring of the accepted historic timeline is compelling, although I don't tend to agree with the conclusions drawn by the museum underwriters. It's definitely worth a stop for those who are interested in "forbidden history" outside the currently held paradigm. The kids loved the fossils and the bit T-rex head but were bored during the presentation of the "creation evidence" film. Quite a neat little museum if you either hold creationist beliefs or are just a student of the weird.

It had several interesting exhibits, a scale model of the ark about thirty feet long and an excellent film discussing creationist theory. Access is easy and staff pleasant. It would be better with guided tours or selfguided audio to give more in depth information regarding exhibits. This is something you should definitely see along with a visit to the dinosaur tracks.

This place has a lot of potential, however, the price is too high (same for kids as adults), there is a sign ever 2 ft saying DO NOT TOUCH, which definitely means not kid friendly. It's a tiny building and nothing is well marked. The ark replica was the only cool thing there.

To start out I have to say the museum is....interesting. The hours are weird and even living in Glen Rose I have no clue when they are open. I thought it was expensive for what you get but then again I guess if you believe in it then it is worth the money?! Really though, non of the stuff they are preaching makes sense and it is amazing that whoever opened this place is able to make money off of these poor people who blindly follow what others tell them just because it sounds semi plausible. I do have to say the one thing i was impressed by was the Noah's Ark model. I appreciate the craftsmanship that went into building that thing. I do think it is amusing though how there are apes in there using tools which clearly shows evolution and that there are dinosaurs with modern day bears but they are the same size. I also find it amusing that if you go to the state park right after they have on a sign that the entire story of finding a human foot in the stone is false. So I guess if you want to waste your money on going in there, try to think rationally about the whole idea and appreciate it for the work that went into building the museum.

The museum has very limited hours so plan your trip accordingly. The video is worth sitting through to see how God made the earth and all things in it, in SEVEN DAYS. They have artifacts and a replicate of the ark. Very neat!

Loved it! My husband and I really enjoyed the museum. I was concerned because of some of the posts here and on google, but we were very pleased. It is in a two story building. The upstairs is now open. Lots to see and read. Its not a big building so you can get finished in an hour to two if you dont watch the movie. I would definitely go back if we lived in the state. Everyone there was very nice and happy. Willing to help and answer any questions.

We visited this museum in August of 2013. I am a Bible believing Christian and was so excited about visiting and showing this to my husband and daughter. The road trip to get there was beautiful but the museum itself was not.The exhibit looked thrown together, the items mostly modern replicas that were poorly labeled. We looked around first, then watched the movie. The editing of the film was terrible and the quality just not good although it did provide an explanation for many of the poorly labeled items that were stationed throughout the building. We did think the ark replica was neat, that was the sole positive of our visit.I want to say the hearts of the overseers of this museum are in the right place, but it just doesn't show in the presentation. When presenting an argument, you must present it with excellence for it to be compelling and I just didnt see that at this museum. I pray that care and professionalism may be added in the future to make this museum into something great. Unfortunately, at this time I cannot recommend it, especially if you have younger children. It was very disappointing.

This museum is very small compared to others but it is filled with a lot of information. The dinosaur tracks & bones are not the only artifacts represented here (some are simulated & some are casts) & well displayed. There is a video "tour" of the museum which gives the information backing their theory.
