montgomery hall park

Montgomery Hall Park often gets overshadowed by the other park in Staunton, Gypsy Hill. MHP offers a terrific playground area, several picnic shelters throughout, a disc golf course and ball fields for local ballgames and leagues. They also have great bike paths in the woods for hiking and/or mountain biking. It is clean, well maintained and a great way to spend some time outside. They had a pool for summer, but the city closed it a few years ago due to restricted funds in the budget. It is a shame, because it is a nice pool. Plenty of parking and lots of room to have fun.

This is a nice park to take your kids to on a Sunday afternoon. Quiet, but fun and enough for the kids to play on.

Nice for hiking too. Lots of sporting options too . Quiet . One of our local parks. Picnic options. Great for bird watchers !
