mezo's juke joint

It's now called mississippi juke joint. Don't let the new nameFool you. It's still the sameNast place only now that got rid of their old crappy menu & replaced it with mcClures BBQ. Now the original mcClures in Nola is probably one of the 25 best BBQ places in the us. That being said the BBQ here is NOT even close to par as Nola. To bad. I guess hire some competent kitchen staff "(kitchen manager)"who can @ least read recipes,get rid of the inept gm who dosent know his butt from a hole in the ground & take some pride in the quality of food you are trying to reproduce.

We went here with friends to take advantage ow their advertised two for one happy hour special from 5 to 7 p.m. We got there at 5:30 and were pretty much the only ones there. When we asked when did things get going the bartender said "about 10 tonight". Oh, well, OK, we just had our two drinks each and left. There was a nice looking outside patio with a stage and fire pit but it was too cold to sit outside.
