秋天9月份或者10月份去是最佳季节,当你回家看你拍得照片时,就知道,你已经把平时只有在电视里看到的画面收到你自己的手里了。

The park offeres a wide space for runners, walkers, bikers. Surrounded by beautiful landscape, there is a lot to do at the park. If you are an artist or photographer this is the place for you. My kids enjoyed walking through the park but if your kids are younger than 8... I would suggest a stroller. Also, the trolleys run after Memorial Day so lots of walking

Forest Park has it all. The zoo, the botanical gardens, the science museum, an arboretum, lots of wide open spaces to picnic and fly a kite. There is an amphitheater for concerts. Parking is ample but you have to know how and where to park. There are shuttles for all the events held there. We have been to Forest Park for all of the above. The science museum is fantastic as well as the zoo. Very relaxing green space in the heart of St Louis.

World class zoo inside the park and FREE, beat that New York, then right around the corner a world class and free Art Museum, try that Chicago!! This is a fun park with lakes for fishing, biking, I think there are 27 holes of golf, walking paths, and ICE rink that is super huge and cool, restaurants, boot rides, you name it this park has it and it is really big and right in the center of the city. On nice days you will see tons of folks running, riding, fishing etc right there yet is really never gets to "crowded" The muny opera house is housed here, the Dwight Davis tennis complex is here, the world class Handball Facility is here. If you have never played handball try it but be warned........the old guys in the park are likely in better shape than any roller blading college kid cruising through the park, they will destroy you in handball. Kids should try it to get in shape. This park appeals to college kids, old people, young kids, you name it. On snowy days about 5,000 folks go sledding on Art Hill or Suicide Hill but yet again not crowded. The only really crowded days are around the Hot Air Balloon Festival. Avoid the South East side of the park on that weekend at all costs as it will take you 2 hours to get out of the park. Any other day or time and there are about 80 exits and no more than 15 minutes in and out from just about anywhere.

So much to see and do, so little time! Forest Park was the site of the 1904 World's Fair! Many of the structures are still there and are magnificent! World Class St. Louis Zoo, Theater, Art Museum, Science Center, golf course, running, bike paths, snow sledding hills, fountains, small lakes all compete for your attention. Simply a marvelous, multipurpose piece of property, west of the Arch. One of my favorite places to go by myself or take the grand kids! A must whether you have a few hours or several days!

tried to find the missouri history museum on a sat. morning. very few signs and difficult to navigate the park if not familiar. Finally found museum . Even the people working there said the park didn't have enough signs.Went to the Louisiana Purchase Exhibit and found it to be very interesting . A security guard (glen) was so nice and very informative about the exhibit. He knew history like the back of his hand and was great to chat with. He should be conducting tours. City needs to step up and make places easier to find, this includes the rest St. Louis. Sign system around town is awful

When there's a snow fall head to where the locals go for tons of sledding fun. In front of the Art Museum there is a great wide hill that's superb for sledding. There are hay bales at the button to stop you so no chance of going into the frozen lake. Everyone is usually pretty attentive to watch for uncontrolled sledders coming down. Parking can be challenging but there are a couple of free lots at the top of the hill and tons of other parking nearby. Bring a flask of hot chocolate and snacks so you can stay longer. Usually someone also builds a fire so think about making s'mores.

This is the park where the Zoo is located. Nice for a peaceful walk with your sig other. many things left over from teh worlds fair and lots of things to do and look at BRING YOUR CAMERA. Also park here close to the zoo and walk to the zoo for free parking and a peaceful stroll along the way to the zoo. Also check out the gazebo for nice pictures

This is a beautiful park in downtown St Louis, MO. There is the science center, museum, butterfly house etc and plenty of room to ride bikes, jog, lay on blanket, pick nick or anything you desire. Never eaten at the restaurant on the lake but have heard good things from friends.

I love Forest Park! An excellent place to exercise, picnic, walking, site seeing, and just walking. Please visit the Art Museum, History Museum, Skate King, The Forest Park Zoo and other sites. The restaurant in the History Museum offers great meals especially breakfast.

I know Parks - I live close to Richmond Park on the west side of London. Forest Park is smaller (Richmond is 2360 acres) and less wild but no less wonderful. It's a far more tamed park - beautifully kept, with a staggering number of attractions, many dating back to the World's Fair of 1904. The St Louis Art Museum (see my review), the Muny - many free seats open air theatre, great musical season in summer, the Jewel Box, an art deco greenhouse, the zoo, a boating lake (with an excellent restaurant - The Boathouse, great for lunch in the open air on the wayter's edge), a planetarium etc. My son lives in a partment just across from the park, and I go running there whenever I visit. It's one of the iconic features that makes STL for me, with the Arch, the Anheuser Busch Brewery tour etc.

This is a living breathing park and vibrant neighborhood. It is the heart of the city and very obviously appreciated and used by the locals. More cities in America should have areas like this.

There is so much to do in the park, but beside the attractions the grounds are beautiful. Cant wait for the spring when all of the flowers will be in bloom!

Forest Park is a wonderful park very well kept with many, many sights for all types. You can see bikers, skateboarders, young, old, museum goers and just those that want a historical spot to mosey around in. I love the outdoor stage at the Muny to watch shows under the stars
