For three hours of entertainement for four adults and our two grandsons 4 1/2 and 3 years old it cost us $89 and this included two large pizzas and nachos. The pizzas and nachos were pretty good and I will be honest their nachos are ten times better than Buffalo wings. We all had fun and the staff was helpful. The cars were fun, bowling, and lots of choices of games.
Needing an evening of fun for a 4 year old who was unable to complete a surgery appointment at Children's Hospital, we selected Kokomo Joe's. It was great fun, a really clean place, and the staff was so helpful.
I LOVE this place. Lots of fun things to do for all ages. My kids and I especially love the laser tag & laser maze. Even though I'm "middle age" I have a LOT of fun whenever we go here. The attendants are pleasant and helpful, the games work (sometimes there may be a couple down, but that is to be expected), and all in all it's a lot of fun. The food isn't great, but it certainly isn't bad.
I took my five year old on a trip before school started. We went the first night we got to Saint Louis and he begged us to go back the second night. There is a bounce house, laser tag, mini golf, mini bowling, arcade games, a laser maze, bumper cars, and so much more. It isn't impossible to win tickets here and the rewards that you get with your tickets are pretty standard for the Chuck E. Cheese type restaurants. We did not eat at Kokomo Joe's, but the food did look fairly expensive. I would recommend eating ahead of time, but cannot comment on the quality of the food. The place was not overly crowded (we went on a Friday and Saturday night). I think that on our next trip to Saint Louis, we will have to stop again. There is no price of admission, but the attractions all have a fee.
The laser tag is fun and good for all ages. The go kart track is a small oval = not much fun over 9 or 10. The bumper cars are very fun if only 2-3 cars are in play. Mini golf is worth it in a package deal but stand alone it is not very exciting and not worth even a few bucks. The video games are okay but on the high side for ticket to cost ratio. If you have never done mini bowling it is great. This was by far our favorite attraction overall. We did not try any of the food. We wish we would have looked at the daily specials online, as we would have planned our visit around what fit our wants best. In the end we will be back for bowling, laser tag, and possibly a quick ride in the bumper cars. NO fee to enter!!
My husband coaches soccer and we always have our soccer parties here. The food and soda and the room is free. What the kids want to spend on games is up to them. It can be costly but if you set limits on how much they can spend its a fun time.
The food is just ok. The toasted ravioli was a waste of money, the hot dog was awesome but extremely small (fried not boiled), pretzels were great, quesadia's were huge and good too, fries were just ok. Did not try the wings or pizza. Attractions were good for the price. I am not a fan of al-a-cart, I would rather pay one price for everything. Not a bad place. The tree rating was mainly the food and staff in the kitchen, they were pretty rude and didn't listen as they kept interrupting as I was trying to order, I had keep telling her I was not finished which is why I guess my order was wrong. All in all I would go again but I would not eat there period.
I miss incredible pizza. No longer do you even have the option I trying to eat good food. The only food options are snack junk food that we spent $30 for. We were the only people here and it took over 15 mins to get a personal pizza, two baskets of fries and a chicken wrap. We paid $60 for two kids to eat and play.
This place has something for all ages. The grandkids sure liked the place. We are going to be going here again.
The beachy theme is great. No fee to go in, just pay for what you choose to play or eat.Activities for all of my children, ages 3 (Bounce area), 9 & 15 (Go Karts, Bumper Cars, Mini Bowling and the Glow in the Dark Golf). Arcade was fun for all of us, very clean and bright. Staff friendly and helpful. Pizza is from scratch and excellent. There is other food too, like wings, fries, wraps and nachos. The refills on the sodas are half price or you can purchase a Kokomo cup and get the refills for 50 cents-ALWAYS! Can not wait to return to try out the Laser Tag that opens this week!
Took the kids to kick off our vacation week. Much nicer than the alternatives. The staff was friendly and the place was CLEAN! I appreciated not having to purchase anything to get in. The game, go kart, and mini golf prices are right on par with their competitors in the area. The pizza was very good as well. Based on our visits here when it was another similar business, I will gladly pay a couple bucks for a drink for my kids to get to go to a clean, friendly, and safe arcade! What amusement park offers free refills anyway, lol? I highly recommend this place, especially since it is locally owned and operated and not a franchise.
We had been to Incredible Pizza at this same location. Kokomo Joe's is a major improvement to this. We liked not having to buy a buffett meal. The pizza was tasty. There were no free refills on soda, which is unheard of these days. Who charges for a soda refill??? The staff was very friendly. We enjoyed the glow-in-the-dark mini golf. The games were overpriced! $1.00 to spin a wheel to win a few tickets? Seriously??? Made me miss Chuck-e-Cheese! The tickets were hard to win and the prized were cheap and sad. I don't expect anything fancy, but you had to have a ton of tickets to get anything even dollar store quality.Overall we had fun, but a family of four could really drop some big cash here. I feel they should lower the prices of the games and give free refills on soda.
Kokomo Joe's opened in February 2013 in the former Incredible Pizza building. While you can still see some remnants of Incredible Pizza, Kokomo Joe's focus is on fun instead of food. Gone are the turnstyles at the entrance where you have to buy something just to get in the building. You pay for what you want to do. A game card gets you access to arcade games and little rides for preschoolers (3 person carousel, single horse and race car). An attraction bracelet gets you into the inflatable area where you can bounce and slide. Older kids will enjoy the bumper cars and go karts, and the whole family will love the glow in the dark mini golf, themed for Route 66.My 3 year old LOVED the little carousel and the mini golf. I particularly liked that the game/attraction room was spaced out, so I didn't feel like we were crammed in with a ton of people and the noise level wasn't too bad either. The games/attractions for younger kids are located at the entrance of the room, with the things for older kids farther back, so you can avoid even having your "too short to ride" kids even seeing the go karts. My only complaint was the food situation. They have a snack bar, but only one register was open, which made for placing orders incredibly slow. They do not allow refills on soda. It took 20 minutes for my mozzarella cheese sticks that I ordered to come out. With some tweeks to the food situation, Kokomo Joe's will be at the top of our list for indoor fun, even though it's a 30 minute drive from our house!
