I think it says a lot about a place when this is its #1 attraction. It's not really beautiful, or clever, or interesting, or funny. It's not an eye sore, or boring, or rude. It's not even quite kitsch. It just is. You can look at pictures of it, or you can go see it for yourself. It's pretty much the same experience. Perhaps that's why the town of Meadville is its perfect home.

While I live out of state now, I grew up in the community and still to this day think it is just weird. Creative art, I'll give you that, and they do have some neat designs, but it still doesn't take away the weirdness that it is basically trash, or that awkward moment when you realize it is in the travel brochure of PA you picked up while driving through.

Food was very good, and lot's of it. Wait staff was very nice and helpful. Great location right on the lake and the place was decorated for the holidays very nicely.

Made by Allegheny college students, it's a cool art piece with a Meadville theme, using street signs. Would love to see more of it next year!

This just road signs in the shapes of trees roads and others artsy stuff that are hanging on a fence...don't even know why I'm rating it...not worth the drive to see it

I have never seen this kind of art on such a grand scale and so well executed! Many of the scenes relate to local culture, history, and architecture. This was well thought out!

These are old road signs turned into art put on a fence along a PENNDOT property. Nice to look at as you drive by but not to walk along it on a main road. We drove by it several times and saw something different each time. Very creative and colorful. It looks like it took a lot of work to build this.

Wonderful collaboration between the Pennsylvania DOT and art students at the local college. Park your car in the DOT lot and it's an easy walk along the length of the attraction. It's huge and features everything from people canoeing to deer feeding to storefronts -- all made from discarded highway signs. Definitely worth a stop.

An unexpected treat in Meadville! I stumbled across the sign wall while I was out looking for a place to eat supper and then made it a point to return the next morning so I could really enjoy the creativity.

we enjoyed looking at the creative ways these sign sculptures were made. you can park in a shopping center at one side of it and walk most of the way down the road to look at the sculptures, but there is a spot near the end where the berm of the road is overgrown and you cant really walk, just need to see this part from your car. I thought it was creative and fun.

This was amazing to see , the first time I saw it I had no idea what the story behind it was but when you find out the story the next time you see it, it has a whole different meaning.

This is one of the first things we noticed coming into town when we moved here. It is a really cool site to see and the good news is coming into Meadville of 79 you can't miss it.

Who would guess that old highway signs could reflect the history and character of Northwest Pa?This unique experience let's one take a different perspective of government, farming, and our own Allegheny College thru signs. Take a balloon ride with the Thurston Classic over rivers and fields. See the County Courthouse in its old glory. Watch out for the Dist 1 snow plow! What a great way to get a feel for our fun area. Come and take a look, and stay to visit.

Ever wonder what happens to old road sign, at the PENNDOT facility in Meadville they have taken all those old signs and turned them into works of art, landscapes, points of interest and huge flowers. Every time I go by I see something that I have not seen before.Allegheny College and PennDOT have done a wonderful job.If you are going by Meadville on I-79, get off at the Meadville exit and it is 2 minutes from the exit right at the corner of RT 322 and Rt 102. There are several gas stations and restaurants across the street within walking distance, well worth the stop.

Even though I live in the area, I never tire of seeing the unique way Alllegheny College art students captured the essence of Crawford County using recycled street signs. Worth visiting Meadville, PA to see!
