The inside of this theater may be the cutest thing you've ever seen. Ornate decorations and opera box style set up make this an awesome place for a date night. Complete with all the usual concessions.

This is an very old theater with great atmosphere, and with the renovations they have done a great place to watch a movie. They are also offering live entertainment now.

My wife and I were staying at the Charley Creek Inn, and decided to venture out and stroll around town. Across the street, we saw that the Eagles theatre was offering a matinee for only $3 per person. Well, it tickled our nostalgic bone, and we decided to see the movie they were showing. It was a children's movie, but it was fun. The theatre was clean and the old style really took us back to the days of our youth.

This recently renovated theatre was built in 1906, and has all the charm you'd expect from an iconic movie palace, complete with 2 balconies! (the balconies do not have the newer seats like the ground floor does) The ticket and concession prices are reasonable, so bring the whole family. My only complaint would be the movie screen tilts backwards just a little, but otherwise enjoy the show!

Located across the street from the Charley Creek Inn, this restored theatre shows first run movies for $5.00 for adults and $3.00 for kids. The snack bar is a bargain too! Two medium drinks and a medium popcorn for just $8.00. The large combo is $9.85 but my wife and I find the medium to be plenty. Where slse is there a nice clean theatre where two adults can see a first run movie with popcorn and drinks for twenty dollars or less?

We enjoyed the movies here. First, the cost was crazy cheap. Second, the people were really fun. The audience really enjoyed being there. We saw two movies for less than it would have cost us to see a movie at any Chicago area theater.

A beautiful 1900 era opera house, now restored as a charming movie theatre.

This theater has been completely refurbished with new seats, painting and entry areas in the past two years. It is only open on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays; and it has first run current movies at very reasonable prices. Great place to take family.

Please don't confuse the title for hyperbole. This hotel has been recently restored and can't be viewed as anything other than a treasure in my opinion. What's the last thing you remembered about the last multiplex you visited? The price of popcorn? The theater style seating? The awesome surround sound? Well guess what? This place can't compete with that because it doesn't have to. You feel like you're sitting in a part of history inside this theater. What's the last multiplex you've been to that still has a balcony. Oh, and yes it does have theater style seating up there because, wait, it is a theater! I have fond memories of when this place was much more decrepit, the floor was like walking on sticky tape, and the Eagles nest balcony was "couples only." I smile recalling the times pieces of popcorn would fly off the balcony and ineviteably interrupt the make-out session it was destined to interrupet below them. It's a fond memory of a time when places were more like communites and each place held a special memory. Try to get that from your local cinema8 located in the stripmall, if you care. The memories, which are free, and the fact not many movie theaters like this exist make this the best place on earth for me to watch a movie.

They did a nice job sprucing it up. Hopefully, they finish the balcony sometime soon. Like stepping back in time.

It's not modern, but that's not why you go to the Eagles. It harkens back to the day when the venue was actually part of the show.
