Run down and not particularly interesting architecture. Would be okay on a tour of several places but not worth a day-trip.

This historic home was built in 1852 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It is located in the heart of the Central Shelby Historic District. It has been meticiously restored and is furnised with period antiques and collectibles. The home has been owned by a Lt. Governor, two Governors, one US Senator, and an Ambassador to Great Britain. It is simply manificant.
