ocean shores golf course

Pretty flat course, a few challenging holes. Well maintained for a public course. Great staff in the clubhouse. Carts were in good shape.

The front nine is well groomed while the back nine is links style (and very dried out). But we encountered deer and lots of long drives on the back nine! You even cross over their Grand Canal! I truly enjoyed the course and will definitely go back! Just remember...tee it low cuz it is windy!

Good central location. Full 18 hole course. The fairways were mostly brown and very bumpy but the greens were surprisingly fast and true. Pretty much the only course in the area, and there are a lot of road crossings to get to the next hole, but I would still say play it and decide for yourself. Fees were reasonable.

Have golfed the course a few times over the years while visiting family in the area. The new pro has done a commendable job with improving the pro shop area and food service. Some nice work on the course as well although some of the fairways could be smoother. The two nines are different which adds to its attraction, more trees on the front. Changing wind patterns which always happen on the coast will challenge you. I recommend that you go and try it out yourself.

Very challenging butlots of fun, especially with the wind as it was when I played. The staff are great people. I enjoyed my morning there very much. I teed off at 6 am and the nice fellow left a pull cart unlocked for me so I could play the front 9 before they opened.Not the kind of course I am used to, but I thoroughly enjoyed it and was delighted that I shot my handicap {91}

Played a twilight round with cart, $41.00. Got in a full 18 holes. If the wind was at our back, -2 clubs and if in our face, +2. If the wind was blowing across our face, good luck. Felt like a golfer in Scotland. Greens were fast but well maintained. Make sure you get a cart unless you really like to walk between holes. Good value for the dollar. Looking forward to my next round.

My husband is the one that golfs and he will go everyday if he could. The club house is very nice and the people that run it are great. Just remember the back nine is sometime closed do to being to wet in the Spring. The course is very well kept. Love to watch the golfer hit the ball over the canal.

I went with a friend that golfs and the golf course was very well kept. The golf course is PGA rated at one time so you can probably imagine that it has to be a certain standard to have the rating.

Super place to introduce our 11 year old to the sport. By the 3rd hole he had decided he wanted to play 18. They also make a mean hot dog!

O.S. Golf Course is a decent course for the area. (There aren't many good golf courses around). The front-9 is wide-open, almost links-style. The back-9 is heavily wooded on many holes. The course is not too hard, but with poor weather (wind/fog), the course become increasingly difficult.

Really enjoyed playing this course. The people were very nice and they had great daily specials.

The Ocean Shores Golf Course is very clean and nice. It is a good place to golf in the rain or sun.
