Lots of slots, don't like the smoke. Didn't win this time but have in past visits. They have popular personalities for entertainment but tickets sell fast.

Ok so the buffet during the week here is not as well appointed as the buffet at tulalip casino. However, it covers all the needed points, soup, salad, and entrees with amazing desserts. At the price point that they come in at, it is worth it. Well worth it, 7.99 for lunch and 12.99 for dinner. We came mid week and it was not crowded. Wonder how busy it is over the weekends when they offer more seafood options at higher prices. But mid week, it was well worth it! Service was lacking on all nights, but its a buffet do they really need to employ drink servers, especially when they cant keep up passed one refill and the fountain machines are well within reach for the diner to help themselves? Overall it s a minor complaint, when we just helped ourselves and reflected this in our tip. We will return and keep this on our list for good value for our money

Smoky casino, not very well ventilated. Not a great variety of card tables or slots. Food is not the best. Just ok for a drop in. Hotel is wonderful tho.

Most casinos are loud probably to distract you so that you spend more at the slots, but this place is really over the top on noise! Several music selections playing at one time, the intercom/speaker announcements are ear busting, and the general atmosphere is very "busy" and uncomfortable. The only really good thing about the casino is that it has a wide variety of slots to play. The buffet is pedestrian and the salad bar portion is the best deal. The hot foods are terrible and lack flavor. Service is good, but the options are limited. Very over priced on the weekend for the quality of the selections.

This casino is only a few miles north of Bellingham, off I-5. The first time we went, we thought we had passed it. It is quite a ways off the highway. The first thing we noticed was a separate entrance for non smokers, which leads into a very small area holding slots for the non smoker. Couldn't complain as we won both times we visited this summer. We did venture outside the non smoking area to have a look at the larger casino. It is your typical smokey room. We did find however a great value in that the Mexican restaurant offers $3 frozen margaritas, which tasted like more!

We love to play the slots but found they were not very loose. I know that the odds of winning are not in my favour but I would have just liked to play.

I like a good seafood buffet and I will pay for the privilege but the buffet at the Skagit Valley Casino needs a new Executive Chef. I will say the snow crab was plentiful although it seemed it was soaked in a saltwater brine that over powered the sweet flavor of the crab. The Salmon at the steam table was so over cooked that it was hard to cut and seemed almost crunchy. The clams and muscles were little more than over cooked kernels that resembled pebbles rather than the soft succulent tidbits they should be. The Salad was nothing more than a bunch of wilted greens that tasted like they were not washed.I'm sorry, if anyone thought this was good food then they spent too much time in military dinning facilities in the 70's and 80's. The sad part about this buffet is that it used to be the best in this part of Washington state.

Be careful if they are having an event as they are terribly overbooked and it is difficult to get on the casino floor. The Hotel is on the very low end and is comparable with a Motel 6. Overall the staff is very friendly and not a bad place for a small casino.

This casino is not as opulent as the Silver Reef or Tulalip, but it IS a favorite go-to because it comps better than either of those two, and the bartenders, cocktail waitresses, and dealers are friendly and real, down-home, good people. Love the chili cheese fries in the snack bar (a deal at $4!) and the seafood and other buffets are worth the money and even more worth it when you use player's bucks/points to pay for the meal, which is easy to do if you play a bit. Highly recommended.

We came in and enjoyed the buffet. My husband ate probably 4lbs of Dungeness crab for $21.95 lol! All of the machines were penny slots which I wasn't too fond of. Drinks were a strict 1oz pour out of a jigger and if you don't smoke, expect to stink like an ashtray upon leaving.

We stayed here for one night and were in the casino way too long to appreciate the room but I am very fussy about beds and I loved the bed here. The room was very clean and the breakfast was basic but good. We had the dinner buffet and I loved the chili rellenos and my spouse loved the meatloaf so there is something for everyone. Try the bread pudding with whiskey sauce, yummy!! In the casino there was draws we were not aware of and people won a car, $10,000. and $ 5,000.. So make sure to ask a the desk about any draws, we will do this next time so we can get in the draw! We will definitely be back.

Not very large and food service was not available in the evening. So, so on the slot paybacks. Clean and well kept with good service though.

Wife and I had the seafood buffet on Friday evening. Wife loves Crab but not happy with the Snow Crab that was served. For me the whole food experience was below average but priced like it was a first class restaurant. They have a captive customer base and take advantage of it.

During the week of 4th of July, we were entering the casino when my husband collapsed. The crew was johnny-on-the-spot with oxygen, helping him to be calm (and me as well), called Medic One and stayed right with us until they transported him to the hospital.I went back a day or two later to thank them for their wonderful work. We have been there many times before and the casino is fun, the food is good, and the accommodations are really nice.

The Skagit Grill has re-vamped their menu and raised the prices. The food was not nearly as good, especially the breakfasts, and the staff were cranky. Right now it's not on my hit list but who knows, maybe reviews like this will help them get their act together. It's a perfect spot for a quick meal and I hope to return to something better the next time.
