I have had the pleasure of seeing two performances and have loved them both. The theatre is beautiful and the seating very comfortable.
One of the smartest things the city of Tracy ever did was renovate this lovely, art deco theatre. It is not only a performing arts center, but a center of education, offering classes in art and dance, etc. There is also a gallery which has wonderful shows of artists from the vicinity, with opportunities to meet the artists in a small, intimate setting. Better publicity is necessary to give it the credit it deserves.
We had a lovely evening in a very intimate setting. There is not a bad seat in the house and we thoroughly enjoyed every song that was played.
The Grand Theatre is a downtown gem. It hosts many impressive events, including sold out concerts, plays, and movie screenings.
There is not a bad seat in the house, it was the perfect venue for an intimate show with Willie and his team. The staff was friendly and accommodating, something you don't get often. Typically at these shows they have a "Greet them and move them" attitude. It was a wonderful evening out.
The Grand is a completely renovated Theatre in Tracy. It's a great place to see a concert. I hope that they step up quantity of the musicians they bring in. We loved Wille Nelson and Robert Cray, and wish for more. It's nice to have a good venue here in town.
All seat are good in this old historic theater, we saw Willie Nelson and Drew Carey. The Grand Theater was remodeled and updated to the grand theater she is!
The Grand Theatre is a great little venue that just doesn't seem to get the proper exposure. I don't know who is in charge of talking it up and securing events, but the theatre is certainly a jewel of a facility that can handle most anything. I saw several events there, including Willie Nelson. Sadly, there was hardly anyone there. If you can't bring them in with Willie as a headliner, then someone is doing something wrong.I don't want to sound negative, because the Grand has a fine cast and crew of volunteers that pour their hearts and souls into bringing the 'Grand' alive. They should be given a standing ovation for their efforts. Also, there is an adjoining art gallery that has many interesting works of art for the theatre goer to peruse. Well worth a visit to the Grand!
The Grand Theatre is a remarkable multipurpose center for all of the arts and its two theaters host many performances. This is a unique place which provides music/art/drama/education and more to Central California. It is the combination of 6 spaces into a whole center giving it increased interest.
This is an absolutely gorgeous theatre with few events. It was beautifully renovated several years ago, but hardly anything happens there. The few times I've been there I was attending private events. But they do have some interesting holiday programs coming up, such as ballets, so I'm planning to go back to see some of those. It's a REALLY beautiful, intimate venue that deserves to be used more.
The Grand Theatre is a wonderful place to see a live show. They also host many events here. I have found the prices to be reasonable and the venue to be terrific - not a bad seat in the house! I would highly recommend this place!
I wish this organization all the best. We went to a concert there last week and it seemed like a nice venue. Hopefully, they can get some go-getters to manage the place. I would hate to see all of this investment go to waste.
