Wonderful staff and management. Went above and beyond to make our family gathering an event to remember.

We have been spending time in this casino for many years. The atmosphere is bright and cheerful and the many employees are friendly and helpful. We eat at the buffet most every evening because the variety and quality of the food is excellent. Servers Vanessa Whitfield and Alan Brookshire and very conscientious and always try to please without being a nuisance. Some days we win and some days we lose as expected but overall it is the one place we frequent the most. Living in Oroville seems to make it even more convenient.

A lot of older slots !!! Food service was pretty slow in the Cafe & the meal could have been better. Enjoyed the music in the bar - was actually the best part of the evening. Floor hospitality (drink orders) was sparse.

Gold Country Casino is an excellent place to come and play. They offer table games, bingo and a huge variety of slot machines. The food is fantastic at the buffet.

Well you can gamble or go next door and Bowl a game or two. Or you can even eat at the casino or play Bingo.

Had a great time with my hubby. Fantastic dinner with amazing service and a great time at the casino.

Horrible service in the bar, hospitality of hotel. Workers aren't friendly at all. I would stay away.

If you're not a local don't bother. Tight machines and players club card benefits are mailed to you and you only get something if you first win between $25-$250. This casino doesn't want players traveling through. Boooooo! Spend your money somewhere else!

I've been there several times. The cigarette smoke in the casino is so bad that breathing the contaminated air can be a health risk. Second floor is non-smoking, but it can also be smoky since smoke is indiscriminate and goes wherever it wants. The cafe' food & service is good, buffet offers a good selection, steak house is overrated and pricey for what you get. Voted the #1 restaurant in Oroville, but that's not a big deal since their competition is limited to maybe 4 other real restaurants and a lot of fast food places.

The dealers weren't as friendly as most places. They made me feel like I was making them work too hard. Left & went & played at Feather Falls Casino.

The air inside is horrible with heavy smoke. They have a tiny non-smoking section upstairs with just a few old games. Since other casinos in the area have large non-smoking areas or are smoke-free I have no reason to go back to Gold Country. It's so unhealthy to breathe that smoke.

This casino is OK its kinda of old looking in side...the machines were kinda tight..has 2 stories..nothing special ..

I've been to gold country several times and had a great time playing slots. You actually have a chance to win unlike red hawk and thunder valley who suck you dry I'm minutes. I've won multiple handpays . At valley of gambled over 50k in a year and never got a hand pay.

nice place to loose your money if you are a gambler. They have a great steak house on the 6TH floor eaten there many times. rooms are very nice as well and so is there buffet.

I had a nice stay in the hotel. Rooms are very modern and clean! Decent size and the bathroom is HUGE! I love the bath tub, really awesome :) I ordered Room Service for breakfast and that was GREAT!!
