Was a nice small museum , with a lot of local history , woman Greeted us and gave us good info about area . It's a donation , per person or family .

A nice display of old local memorabilia from Edison wax roll players to Franklin stoves. A lot of old cool mining stuff, and views of some of the old buildings as the were 100 plus years ago. The volunteer at the desk was very friendly and knowledgeable.

Great little museum, that showcases the rich history of Murphys and the surrounding area. A must see for first time visitors to the area.

Quirky, but fascinating. Almost more than you could ever want to know about Murphys and Calaveras county. It is in a durable old building. A must-see stop on any visit.
