As a big fan of craft distilling I was excited to find this little gem of a distillery hidden away in an industrial park in Buellton. I was impressed by their bourbon and vodka's, especially the caviar lime vodka, and enjoyed the tour of their small distillery. If you enjoy fine spirits I would recommend this as a nice break from wine tasting.

The Santa Ynez Valley in know for it's wine industry. I had heard about a distillery in Buellton and with the help of a friend found a bourbon and vodka tasting room, Ascendant Spirits. The spirits are distilled on site and the crew could not have been friendlier offering tours, tastes, and directions to local retailers. Ascendant is located at the end if Industrial Way near a wne tasting room and a brewery/food stop. Give it a look. Across the freeway is Firestone brewery and restaurant, good food, great beer ( the Firestone Blond is very good ).
