We were introduced to Willamette Valley by way of Steven, who came to our local wine fest every year. He would tell us, it's "Willamette Dammit!" His friendliness and great wine drew us to the vineyard. The woman working the tasting room was great and her hospitality was top notch! Hight recommend a visit!
THREE generations and Charlie the winery dog welcomed me this afternoon at Witness Tree vineyard cellars / tasting room.Lovely and well crafted wines presented by the knowledgeable hostess.Particularly enjoyed a unique Rose blend: dolcetto viognier pilot noir = a 1st for this longtime wine taster!Beautiful property south facing with clear views to Mount Hood & Jefferson today was a rare treat.Gracious hospitality from grandma and 3 generations. RECOMMENDED.
Two couples traveling through Oregon, we very much enjoyed our visit to Witness Tree. The wines were great, the view of the actual "witness tree" was very fun, and Liz, our host, was most knowledgeable and friendly. Thanks! We highly recommend a visit to Witness Tree!
Witness Tree has a low-cost tasting, great wines with a few varietals. The staff are friendly and have great explanations of process, tastes. The tree itself is on the property and a great photo op.
Witness Tree Winery is first what made me fall in love with reds. Their knack for creativity combined with the crop's minimal handling and the ancient, lava flow soils make the most delicious wines. My personal favorites are the Chainsaw Pinot and the Viognier. Their friendly staff and charming tasting room make for a lovely afternoon tasting trip.
Stopped by after visiting St. Innocent. Witness Tree pales in comparison. The vineyards and the tasting room staff were nice, but the wines were just average.
This is a prototypical Willamette Valley winery -- small production, high quality, family owned.Pinot Noir is the mainstay. If you like dessert wines buy a bottle of Sweet Signe -- it's pretty darn good (if you like dessert wines.)
Beautiful location. Picnic tables available for a perfect lunch. Just bring the bread and chesse
