I like Cherokee Casino in Ramona because the people are friendly. It isn't smoky and the grill has some pretty tasty food.
My wife and I stopped in this casino for the first time after missing our exit to get back onto the Muskogee Turnpike. Since we had won at the Cherokee Casino in Sallisaw a couple of hours earlier, we decided to try our luck again. I won some money, but my wife lost what she had won at the Sallisaw location. This is a medium-sized casino with around 400 electronic games, as well as a bar & grill. As with other Cherokee nation casinos, there is a free beverage station to self-serve yourself with soda, coffee and tea. The player’s club card is accepted at all of the Cherokee casinos and you earn reward points at any location. We had used our rewards free play earlier at the Sallisaw location. As with all of the Cherokee casino locations, the staff keeps the casino clean. After some of the dirty casinos that I have visited around St. Louis and in Atlantic City, this is much appreciated.
I and my brother drove here from Tulsa Airport to meet our family who live in the area. We had to wait a really, really long time for service and a really, really long time for lousy food. The server had to make three trips back and forth to management to see if I could substitute fresh fruit or cottage cheese (or even the green beans being served with the entrees) for the greasy hash browns I was trying to avoid. No fruit, no cottage cheese, and no, I couldn't even substitute with the green beans. Over forty-five minutes later when our meals arrived, the hash browns were cold. That wasn't even the worst part. The restaurant is not protected in any way from all the smoke in the casino! It was horrible sitting there breathing cigarette smoke waiting forever for cold food. This is the worst review I have ever had to post, and Cherokee Casino Ramona deserves that "honor."
I ate here recently with a nongambling party who just wanted to have a good meal. Unfortunately, I was disappointed in the service and waiting a very long time just to receive drinks. They advertise some good food- prime rib, tilapia and a few other main dishes however the time it took to both place our order and receive it left me wanting to drive to Bartlesville and eat out there instead. I looked on the cherokee casino website for a comments section. There was none. If they want their Cafe to reap some of the benefits of standing lines to get in- they have simply got to offer better service, better quality food, and pay attention to the customers comments. I would love to have a good restaurant nearby and frequent it, unfortunately until they hire someone with some restaurant experience both in the cooking area and management of emplyees it rates very low with me in the current standards. Interesting to see every single chair filled on a Friday night, yet to be able to walk straight into the cafe and find a booth should havebeen a red flag. Come on Cherokee Nation Casinos!!! You are making a ton of money on your machines, recycle those earnings back and earn a reputation for a really good place to eat that is known to have really outstanding food. We want it!!!!
My wife and I stopped here on our way back from Bartlesville about a week ago. This facility replaces the modular buildings that were on-site that previously acted as the casino. My wife and I ate at the Ramona Grill inside tha casino and really enjoyed the food. With using the Cherokee Rewards card, we received a 10% discount. The total for our meal was $11. See the picture for my meal - a Swiss mushroom burger. My wife had the bacon burger. The food is cheap, but the slot machines are very tight. I guess the new casino building has to be paid for somehow, huh? I didn't notice a single person making noise like they had hit a jackpot during the time we were there.
me gusta ir a distraerme un rato con mi esposo y mi suegra, lo que mas me gusta es cuando gano me emosiono.
