Jazz Lab is great for a non-smoking venue! They have some good local performers, reasonably priced, and Hideaway Pizza is available. Wine and mixed drinks are available as well. I wish there was a permanent dance floor, that's typically the only negative that I hear about Jazz Lab. I recommend going there!!

A great venue to hear local and national talent. Non-smoking, bar with limited wine, beer selections. Better on mixed drinks. Sometimes sold out to call ahead.

The UCO Jazz Lab is a great venue for a low key evening or a top notch night for the books. They bring in great acts on some nights, and on some nights, students from the university perform their own sets. No matter what the show, Hideaway pizza and drinks are available, and you can make it memorable. I love this place.

UCO Jazz Lab is one of our favorite inexpensive yet high enjoyment entertainment venues. The entire experience is interesting and varied depending on the artists performing and the type of crowd. One of our favorite artist(s) is "Smiling Vic". We've seen his performance 3 times now and it never ceases to please us. When we have out of town guests, we love to introduce them to the Jazz Lab - it represents Oklahoma very well. As a side note, food is available through Hideaway Pizza which is located next door but they take orders and deliver to your table. Also, there is a well-stocked bar on location so you can have your favorite beverage throughout the entire performance.

If you are a jazz fan then this is the venue to hear world class jazz. The concert schedule is easily found on their website and has hosted some of the biggest names in jazz. Not to mention the top notch jazz bands of the university that frequently play. The jazz lab hosts Hideaway Pizza with a bar that offers a great combination of food, drink and jazz.

Good entertainment for reasonable prices. Seating is limited, so you have to get there early. Would be nice if they had better food.

The UCO jazz lab not only features professional performers, but also future professional performers! It's a relaxing upbeat atmosphere, and you can order from Hideaway Pizza's menu from the lab, and have it delivered to your table. If you haven't been to the jazz lab- you should try it out.

Full disclosure: I work at UCO and am often involved with the music theatre productions at the Jazz Lab. As a matter of fact, I look forward to working in the Lab because I always see people having a great time there. The annual Christmas show is sold out for its entire run every year. Beyond the theatre and cabaret productions available at the Jazz Lab, there are performances by some of the top names in the country for jazz, as well as evenings with some of the local jazz gang. Oklahoma City and its surrounding community is blessed with musical talent of many genre. The music school has a faculty artist series there that is brilliant. Add Hideaway's menu and a bar to the mix and you've got a pretty much guaranteed good time.

This is a Class A venue to catch great musicians doing their thing! Check their website: http://www.ucojazzlab.com/ for a schedule of events and you might even find someone famous like Nora Jones or the band Souled Out!This venue is also used the Jazz students of UCO as a learning center and many of their performances are open for viewing.Located right next door is the famous Hide-away pizza joint - check them out as well.

We enjoy having dinner at Hideaway Pizza and walking next door to attend performances by "Oklahoma's great musicians. We really enjoy Kyle Dillingham and his band Horseshoe Road. You can eat pizza while watching the performance and it is a small facility so you get to know the regular attendees. Great time.

The Jazz Lab features local and national entertainers playing in a small venue. It is much more personal than large concert venues. Pizza and beverages are available for purchase.

It is a nice venue and have seen several types of concerts here, opera and jazz. There is a bar and you can order pizza from Hideaway which is next and is delivered to your table.

Want a cool, relaxing evening with nice music and a menu from Hideaway Pizza? The UCO Jazz Lab offers an inexpensive and intimate evening. Not a big venue, you feel close to the performers. We enjoy the Jazz Lab every time we go. My only complaint is that they should have a coffee bar; sometimes you don;t feel like having an alcoholic drink... the music is enough of a buzz.

This is one of the best things about Edmond. I went to the Jazz Lab twice this semester-once for a classical music concert and the other time for a Christmas concert. It is a very intimate venue. Everywhere you sit you can see the stage very well. There is also a bar where you can get wine/beer and some people also eat pizza! It is definitely worth your time to check out.
