Lots to do here. Disc golf, picnic shelters, playgrounds for the kids and a place to pick up pecans in the fall. Dog friendly and a nice hiking trail.
The walking trail through the woods is always enjoyable. Sometimes during warmer months, one would think they had accidentally been transported to old Mexico. The Hispanic population really frequents this park.
a nice place to spend a weekend with friends, to grill, play ,or soccer. there are several picnic areas for groups or families to enjoy. Also covered areas to take shelter from the hot Oklahoma sun or of an eventual thunderstorm. Sundays it is advisable to get there early , as many people and organizations spend a leisure weekend there.
Great place away from town to walk the trail or go jogging and to just get away. There are picnic tables to have a picnic with your family.
Pretty mature trees and relatively smooth one mile gravel jogging path with large open grass areas make this a nice family outing place. Several covered pavilions and restrooms are located on the west side. If the wind is wrong, the nearby sewage plant will make you gag.
This is a very nice park, for playing football or just to go for a walk. The locals run along trails there or take their dogs for walks. It is tree covered and very nice place to have a picnic/
The west side of this park is large, with great playgrounds and covered picnic areas. There's lots of room to run and throw frisbees. But, the east side, across Garnett Rd., is our favorite part: the walking trail. We have rambunctious grandsons who love exploring all the turns of this trail, and sleep well after! It's their favorite park in Tulsa County.
This place has paved trails, ball fields for organized sports, and much more, some on both sides of the road. I see dogs being walked and joggers jogging. Photographers can find nice photo backgrounds, hawks and buzzards flying overhead, etc.. They also have tennis courts and a frisbee golf course. I just enjoy watching the men's flag football games on Sunday afternoons.
This park has walking and bike trails, a nice disc golf course, playground area for the children, and covered and uncovered picnic area. Lots of trees for shade.
My daughter loves the playgrounds. My husband and I enjoy the scenic trails. There are always lots of people out and about--jogging, playing frisbee golf, enjoying a picnic or having fun as a family. Bathrooms are sketchy.
Nice little trail through nature. It has always been quiet and never crouded when I have been there. Takes about 20 minutes to walk the long trail.
Overall this is a fairly safe park, for the area. Once used to be known as a slime ball hangout but due to more attention by police and more families this is a safer park.
Haikey Creek is a nice park for a variety of activities. They have playground equipment and restrooms as well as picnic facilities in one part of the park. There is a nice walking/jogging trail across the street, part of which goes through a wooded area and crosses a creek. There is a disc golf course and a large expanse of lawn, lots of trees. We often see people gathering pecans or walnuts. My husband and I usually walk in the late afternoon. It feels very safe because the park is never completely empty.
This is a wonderful walk trail to exercise. It feels safe for the most part but I always try to be alert when walking alone.
We have been to this park numerous times and love it. It has a good walking trail for exercising. The park seems very safe. We have seen police patrolling the area which we like. We go there on a weekly basis and recommend it for families.
