bartlesville area history museum

Finally got a chance to visit this History Museum, and we were pleasantly impressed!! Wonderful photos and information on the history of Bartlesville, of which I'm from and I would recommend it to anyone, especially if you're just visiting the area! They also have a very nice gift shop with wonderful books etc. on the city. The exhibits are very well done and please take the time to go visit this wonderful place!

This is a place children love for the rides, fun, food & atmosphere. Parents love it for those reasons also, but they also love that the prices for the rides are anywhere from .25 to .50 and the drinks/food is reasonably priced. The park has been in existence since at least 1947 (one of the pictures I've seen was dated) and has moved to a different location where it has more room and is next door to a real park. It is operated with volunteers and functions on support from the community so they can continue to offer this great park of fun to all families. I have taken my 3 small grandchildren to the park twice this past summer and they had a ball and I still had money in my billfold when I left the park. It is truly a family place and I have never even seen anyone smoking inside the park gates! It's worth a visit when going through Bartlesville, Ok.
