My sister and I stubbled upon this museum while reminiscing about the Old Paramount Theatre. We had attended a concert here many years ago. We found that inside they had every poster from just about every movie ever made. What a find. It really was great to know a lot of the actors and actresses had actually performed here. One of mine was Danny Kay.I had worked for a PB dentist many years ago and one of our patients had been married to Errol Flynn. It was exciting to step back in time and for a moment feel part of the past. Also that they didn't tear this one down. We had Paramount Theatre where I grew up. I still remember the elegant red velvet rope and curtain and the beautiful paintings on the ceilings. It was such a loss when they tore it down.

What great history awaits you here! A short walk from the Breakers is this lovely museum with photographs of all the greats from Hollywood and Palm Beach.

Great little spot to be reminded of the past. Loved the pictures and descriptions. With a quick visit. If nothing else but to see the original sign.

Just drive by - no reason to stop. Interesting if you are obsessed with history of architecture in Palm Beach - but nothing happening there.

we went in specifically because while eating at Green's Pharmacy, i saw the sign for the church in the movie building and was curious. interesting architecturally, though we were disappointed that we could not get into the domed portion, it is restricted for some reason. the church itself is incredibly small and not really anything in itself to be in awe over,a semi circle of glass walls surrounding chairs set facing what remains of the stage of the theater. There are pictures of old stars that line the walls and elevator in this building outside the church. I personally wouldnt go out of my way to see it but if you are in the area anyway, there are other sites right across the street like St Edwards which is beautiful, it is interesting to see. This is entirely speaking as looking at the building as just an object of interest, could be the church is vibrant and does much for God and is worth visiting for other reasons. No one was there when we visited so I couldnt comment on that aspect

The entire building is owned and managed by the Paramount Church. On the first floor there is a multitude of photos relating to the theater, the stars and old Palm Beach society who frequented the theater in its heyday. The exterior is as it was years ago. This is a must see for movie buffs and will interest even those of us who are curious.

The old theatre has been converted into an office building. What you can see is the building itself and the corridors. The corridors are full with old photographs of stars and celebrities and old movie posters and advertisements. You can feel and smell the atmosphere. Meet Greta Garbo, Marlon Brando, Ingrid Bergmann, Audrey Hepburn. A journey to the past. There is probably nobody there except you. Enjoy!

this is great to add to your list because it is a unique experience that is free and takes only 30 minutes to enjoy. an old classic theatre that is now converted to offices but the hallways are now a museum of pictures showing the stars and shows that have been on stage and wow the names of people who came here is amazing. also the actual stage is now a church and you can peek through the windows and look around to see remnants of the old theatre. it is really fun to tie this together with 2 other nearby things: lunch at green's pharmacy just a block away and a stroll through the nearby church Bethesda by the sea (both found in tripadvisor). Do all 3 together for a fun 4 hour adventure!
