I discovered this about 10 years ago driving by, now i tell all my guests who are headed South on A1A about it. He takes driftwood and creates amazing art. I asked him recently if he takes commissions or just makes what he wants. His manager Cynthia, said 'The wood speaks to him, and he brings out what's in the wood'. Which must be the case, because it really is amazing. Currently he has a two headed dragon he's working on which is a commission from Singapore. It's a bit pricey, but no more than any other art by a renowned artist. It's easy to miss if you're looking for it, so it's best to look it up and use GPS to get there. Even if the indoor gallery is closed, there is a lot to see outside. It's a real treat when the indoor gallery is open. If you keep heading south on A1A on the weekend, be sure to stop by the boiled peanut guy on the righthand side of the road. If you like spicy, get the Cajun!
