This is a small, old library in need of maintenance (& an influx of funds). Equipment is old, furniture is worn out, the whole facility could be cleaner. But they have a fair selection of materials & a lot of computers for internet access. Their used book sale section (which is so alive & popular in most modern libraries) is pitiful. But for basic research etc, this library will suffice.
Nice library. It's got really good architecture. It's also got wifi and clean bathrooms. Outside has a nice display of a giant book and a life-like statue of a dinosaur that kids will like.
The Nogales City Library is an architectural gem in the heart of downtown Nogales. Designed by Arizona's renowned Bennie Gonzales, it was his first commissioned work as an architect, and received an award from the American Institute of Architects. The little park in front of the library plays off a child's imagination with an oversized book and a fun dinosaur monument. We take our children to the weekly story time, check out media, and use the public computers.
