I've been to this park many times. It's great for many types of outdoor activities. The parking is ample, there is a skateboarding park, the restrooms are clean, and there is a place for working out on apparatuses. It has nice wide trails for running, walking. Or biking. It's very clean and well kept.

Kennesaw and Acworth have won accolades for years for their city management, top sub-divisions, churches, you name it. The Park in Kennesaw and Lake Acworth Park in Acworth are 2 of the best anywhere. The skate ramp section of the park is always crowded with students and the walking trail is too. My wife and kids go every week to Swift to walk or play on the play-ground while my son skate boards (which is where he is right now as I write this. It is well-patrolled but parking can be a hassle. The 2 large parking lots are often full but it's worth the trouble. The large grassy areas are perfect for soccer, frisbee throwing and kite flying or just picnicking. The covered pavilions can be reserved for birthdays and we have done that. They also have special city events there with vendors and free outdoor family movie nights during many months. You can't beat it for fun family entertainment and exercise. They even have 2 doggie parks that are fenced in: one for big dogs and one for not so big. Everyone has a blast.

This park has a lot to offer and continues to expand its recreational services. I love running the paved trail around the perimeter of the park. The dog park is awesome but can be a bit muddy, although they have hoses to rinse your furry friend as well as water fountains to keep them hydrated. There are 2 parks with tons to do for the smaller toddlers and bigger kiddos... slides, climbing activities, monkey bars, swings, etc. Swift-Cantrell also has some great pavilions for picnics and gatherings. All-around fantastic asset for the community!

One or half mile, you can choose, quasi-circular walking tracks lined with small dogwood and sapling areas.

From cow pasture to park, this place now hosts a plethora events nearly every weekend, which range from family friendly to events just for children/teenagers (I.e. movie night vs. Skate show?) Before rhe skate park was even built there were unruly teenagers. Unruly children might as well be congregated in one place to make them more likely to get cuaght, but even then I have not noticed anything extraordinarily worse. It is a large park, you can stay away from them if you want.

What a great park. There is so much to offer from the skate park to the dog park. It looks like there are a few events at the park too. There was ample poop stations throughout the park as well. I have a small dog so we went to the small dog side. The people were friendly and the dogs had a great time. I can't wait to go back.

Would recommend to anyone looking for a safe place to walk or jog. Dog parks one for large dogs and one for smaller ones. Occasional free family friendly outdoor movies. State of the art skateboard park. Pavilions for picnics, clean bathrooms. Overflow parking at the adjacent elementary school with walk through gate to park in rear of school.

Beautiful, but exceptional park. 2-tracks, dog park, soccer field, baseball field,2- playgrounds. One fenced playground and one open. Brand new skateboard park. Movies on a big screen in the summer and much ,much, more. Several bathroom facilities A must have experience.

I really Love this park.It is very nice to walk in for Exercise.They also have a Dog park ,Toddlers playground and one for the older kids. This park also just got a new skate board park.I am so glad I live in walking distance to it.If you are looking for some where fun and free to Exercise at this will be a great park to go to.

Nice long walking trail around the whole area. Great playground with 3 areas for different ages of children (downside on a really hot day is no shade). Huge area to play frisbee and such. They also have a small dogpark area. Recently added a skateboard park on one side which has been a big draw for skateboard enthusiasts. Nice family oriented park.

The park was nice, but since they put in the skate park it is filled with unruly teenagers. There is a nice track around the park, an off leash small dog play area and a large dog off leash play area. Also, a large field and picnic areas. For kids, a nice playground. If you're into skateboarding, I suppose the skate park is state of the art.

This a wonderful place to spend with family ! Children would love the various attractions available for play.In summer they show outdoor movies ! We saw Frozen on 07 June 2014 and it was fun !

Something for everyone- paved walking/jogging paths, modern playground, dog park, skate park, green space and a new exercise station. Also has clean restroom facilities and water fountains throughout the park. The park is patrolled regularly by both security and maintenance. It is a great park!

Great park, really happy they built it. Best dog park around these parts! Nice paved paths, open spaces, playground for the kids, brand new modern skate park if you're into that kind of thing!

This park offers it all. I like the walking trails. The kids playgrounds are wonderful and the skate park is second to none.
