Maria Louisas history is pretty riveting and some of the illustrations and artefacts would be very interesting, but often displayed in such a manner that the spectators cannot decipher the legends and/or appreciate various details.

This small museum is very interesting and very nicely arranged. Easy to walk through in an hour. Many personnel items of Marie. Don't miss it.

We basically went in to get warm because of the weather. But we found a beautiful museum, that we truly enjoyed. It offer lovely rooms decorated with lots of little pieces of art, some of famous artists, and some are just lovely nevertheless. And the staff that works there is super nice, which is always a bonus.

Excellent collection that includes jewelry, paintings,furniture, letters, pictures and a lot of artwork.Napoleon's wife was a favorite in Parma and there is some history related to their marriage.

Great place to visit. Lots of interesting things to see and learn about. Opening hours tues -sat 9.30 to 3.30. Sunday 9-6.30pm

A wonderful glimpse into the life of Maria Luigia, wife of Napoleon, and 19th century palace life. Housed in a delightful small museum there are gowns, jewelry, memoirs,and some nice artwork from that period of the 19th century. Definitely worth a visit!

Centrally located in the heart of historical Parma, this museum has a plenty of Maria Luigia of Habsburg and napoleonic period objects. The museum is in a ancient palace (Palazzo di Riserva) overwatching Pilotta Palace, in the pedestrain zone. You will find a lot of things belong to Maria Luigia, including furniture, dresses, jewels ….Maria Luigia (Napoleon’s second wife and later Duchess of Parma) was a very important figure for Parma and is still very loved by people. She made a lot of important changes in the town, bringing a touch of french style that can still be seen in town’s architecture. Visiting this museum is like going back in time and live in 19th century.

Questo Museo è veramente completo e raro - i ricordi che ci hanno lasciato Maria Luisa e Napoleone sono inestimabili - oggetti di raro valore - ci sono tutte le cose personali che usava Maria Luigia per il sui ricamo - la farmacia da viaggio e altre cose introvabili in altri musei senza contare le lettere i gioielli e tante altre cose interessantissime senza trascurare che ha un costo di ingresso minimo che è difficile da trovare in un Museo così completo e con volontari gentilissimi pronti a darti qualsiasi chiarimento - DA VISITARE !!!!!!

ho visitato il museo , per chi cerca qualcosa in più ,molti oggetti appartenuti a Marialuigia, cercavo lettere di corrispondenza dell'epoca e le ho trovate , interessante

К сожалению,было очень мало времени на просмотр экспозиции,а так бы хотелось задержаться,я нашла там множество интересных вещей,писем,картин,принадлежавших семье.особенно впечатлили картины Марии Луиджы-представлен альбом из 46 чудных акварелей,талант несомненный! Очень красивые шелковые платья,много личных вещейи большая коллекция портретов всех членов семьи как признанных,так и незаконнорожденных 2-х детей Марии Луиджи во время ее управления провинциями,принадлежавших ей.Огромное спасибо смотрительнице музея,женщине на пенсии,очень красивая и колоритная! Т.к. мы были вдвоем в музее,она уделила нам очень много времени,рассказывая подробности и семейные тайны Марии Луиджи,масса интереснейшей информации!

Il Glauco Lombardi, a mio parere, rappresenta un bellissimo esempio di museo. Raccolto ma completo, riesce a soddisfare quasi tutti gli aspetti della vita di Maria Luigia e Napoleone. Attraverso il percorso che si snoda fra le varie stanze, viene fatto rivivere a noi visitatori, il fasto, i vezzi, le abitudini della Duchessa tanto illuminata ed amata dai parmigiani e del Suo non meno famoso consorte.

Nel "Glauco Lombardi" si possono apprezzare tutte le qualità che rendono vivo ed attuale e fertile scuola un Museo e la sua Biblioteca, ove la Storia patria locale si proietta in quella europea e ben oltre. Più semplicemente, il Museo fa conoscere con efficacia, sa insegnare e stimolare all'imparare. Il riconoscimento e tutte le lodi vanno alla saggia e paziente e lungimirante Direzione ed alle volontarie e volontari appassionati che a questa esemplare struttura parmense dedicano con gran frutto la loro collaborazione.

В целом музей не особенно интересен, но есть предметы, которые редко увидишь - одежда, обувь, мелкие бытовые предметы, например, дорожные наборы с медикаментами, для шитья, для питья, портреты

Масса интересного - такого количества аутентичных личных вещей той эпохи не наблюдал более нигде. Там также можно послушать музыку в исполнении местных артистов. Трогательно и очень успокаивает. Ребята очень стараются. В интерьерах бывшего дома бывшей жены Наполеона всё очень гармонично

Piccolo e interessante questo museo privato situato a Palazzo Riserva. Il pieghevole che danno all'ingresso dice: "Maria Luigia e Napoleone" - testimonianze. Ed effettivamente si può gustare uno spaccato di vita della duchessa di Parma, Piacenza e Guastalla. Una vita che qui viene mostrata nei suoi lati forse più intimi e semplici
