阳光灿烂的时候最合宜漫步在林荫下，可以使心境平和。从大学步行到花园不过十来分钟，十分方便。标示也十分完备，不用害怕迷路哦。

the chinese garden is really beautiful and very good to stroll around and relax. but it is very small. there is WIFI there.there are several tropical glass houses with a variety of stunning exotic plants. do not miss those. it it really impressive and beautiful.the rest of the garden is only worth seeing in spring/summer. regardless of the season it is a pleasure to stroll around and enjoy the calm and relaxing atmosphere. if you have the time, exit the garden on the foot of the hill and follow the road down to kemnader lake. there are good jogging and inline skating options there.

A rather lovely and one of the best places I'd visit Bochum from time to time. If you have any free time for a leisure afternoon, want to get close to the nature, wanna stay in a traquil environment,either for reading or for a walk, Botanisher Garten would be the perfect Choice to visit. you can see the tropical plants and trees from different continents or different landscape of gardening. And the Chinese Garden. Visiting there in Autumn is one of the most beautiful experiences i'd ever had, the most worthy moments that I had in Bochum.

One of Bochum's attractions, especially if you are interested in tropical plants. The variety and arrangement is beautiful and makes a wonderful passtime. The Chinese Garden section is also wonderous with the lily pond, the koi's and chinese buildings.

I actually went there on the December of 2009. Liked the cactus garden and the artificially created tropical forest room. There was a live big horn bill actually cawing in that room. Gave me an impression of walking in an amazon forest.

You will find plants and trees from all over the world here, you wouldn´t have expected. And there is also a nice little "chinese garden" in the middle of the botanical garden, which is really a little gem where you can find tranquillity for a few minutes or hours if you want.

Der botanische Garten der RUB ist ideal zum Entspannen und Verweilen. Dazu bietet er noch viele Informationen und große Vielfalt.

Der botanische Garten in Bochum ist der Ruhuni angeschlossen und daher leider auch vom Baustil ähnlich. Da er an einem Hang liegt ist er terrassenartig angelegt und dafür wurde in erster Linie Beton benutzt. Die enorme Pflanzenvielfalt macht die Bausünden aber wieder wett. Tolle Gewächshäuser, die besonders im Winter zu empfehlen sind. Und natürlich der chinesische Garten, der auch schon in vielen Bewertungen genannt wurde. Am Wochenende leider immer überlaufen, aber sonst wirklich eine Oase der Ruhe.

Mitten im Botanischen Garten gibt es einen chinesischen Garten, umringt von einer weißen traditionellen Mauer, der eindrucksvoll die Garten-Architektur und Philosophie dahinter zeigt. Auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert.Wichtig bei einem chinesischen Garten: mindestens einmal im Uhrzeigersinn herum und einmal in die andere Richtung gehen, der Garten wirkt jeweils anders.

Als ich noch dort studiert habe, war ich häufiger dort. Eine klare Empfehlung, wenn man sich mal an einem Sonntag die Zeit vertreiben möchte.

Hier und da könnte mal etwas modernisiert oder umgestaltet werden, aber alles in allem ein schöner Ort um Fotos zu machen oder etwas Ruhe zu finden. Besonders die Gewächshäuser sind ein kleines Highlight und sollten bei einem Besuch nicht ausgelassen werden.

Im allgemeinen ist der botanische Garten schön angelegt, jedoch könnte er doch noch attraktiver gestaltet werden. Es ist für Menschen mit Luftproblemen schlecht erreichbar, da es sehr steil teilweise ist.
