located in the middle of the city the museum offers a vatiaty of items found in the island and also a bit of its history, worth visiting.

Very interesting little museum, if you wanna go deeply in the history of this beautiful island, go there.It's in the main square of chora Andros.

- Location: Central.- Atmosphere: Hot and airless.- Duration of visit: 15-20 minutes.- Antiquities description: All antiquities have a description next to them.- Museum shop: A small shop where you can buy books and postcards.-Recommendation: Make a confirmation call to ensure the opening hours.

Pleasant museum with interesting material. Somewhat airless--would be helpful to have the windows opened.

Make sure you know the correct opening hours before you get there. I had checked the opening hours at the Internet, and the information was wrong!!! So, unfortunately I didn’t had the chance to visit the museum, since I only went to Hora once (it was quite far from the hotel I stayed).

Very small. The most interesting is the Hellenistic marble statue of Ermis copy of the famous Praxitelis statue kept in Olympia.

We were really impressed with the monument, statues and all the treasures that the island of Andros was hiding. The museum is like a miniature of a nice big museum of a European capital. Excellent work. We are really proud to have it.

in the museum you will see the great statue of "Hermes of Andros" (other copies of this famous statues you will find in the British and the Vatican Museums).Check the opening times of the museum before going there.

Πολυ ενδιαφερον μουσειο με εκθεμετα κυκλαδικης,κλασικής εποχής αλλα και νεοτερων χρόνων. Ξεχωριζει το εντυπωσιακο αγαλμα του Ερμή της Άνδρου! Ο τελευταίος οροφος του μουσείου εχει και πολυ ομορφη θεα στη χωρα και στο νημποριο!

Ενδιαφέρον μικρό μουσείο με ωραία παρουσίαση των εκθεμάτων. Το πρώτο έκθεμα που βλέπει ο επισκέπτης στον πρώτο όροφο είναι ένα σπάνιο αντίτυπο της Χάρτας της Μεγάλης Ελλάδας του Ρήγα Φεραίου. Στον ίδιο όροφο υπάρχουν πολύ ενδιαφέροντα εκθέματα και φωτογραφίες από το γεωμετρικό οικισμό της Ζαγοράς. Ο τρόπος έκθεσης είναι πραγματικά εξαιρετικός. Στο ισόγειο υπάρχουν έργα γλυπτικής και οι επιγραφές καθώς και εκθέματα από την Παλαιόπολη. Πάντως το γλυπτό που δεσπόζει είναι το άγαλμα του Ερμή, "ο Ερμής της Άνδρου" όπως είναι γνωστός, αντίγραφο σε μάρμαρο του Ερμή του Πραξιτέλη.

E' al centro della piazzetta di Hora, in fondo al viale, vicino a Platanos. Piccolo a due piani, interessante per scoprire la storia di Andros e le sue dominazioni. La statua di Hermes il pezzo più interessante.
