dnepropetrovsk opera and ballet theatre

The building (built in seventies) is awful, like a garage. Theater has a good artist, good ballet group but weak opera singers. The hall inside is rather comfortable but with a poor and expensive buffet in an-tracts.

This theatre is very popular among the local people as well as with the visitors especially foreigners. The balleys and operas are great there. A lot of famous singers come with their concerts there not only Ukrainian, Russian, Geirgian but also English, Italian and many others.It is the right place to go being in Dnepropetrovsk.

This place have saved me from winter blues and gave me a chance to see so great shows. The level of Dnepro ballet can be compared to one in major European cities. I definitely recommend the visit. Just be aware the audience, they tend to talk and eat during the show and even the polite request if they can stop either can upset them.

Впрочем, учитывая то, что театр этот в миллионном городе, можно было ожидать более высокого уровня. Городским властям стоило бы изыскать средства на ремонт, а то, извините, туалеты, к примеру, совсем уж в постыдном состоянии находятся.

В июле 2014 г была в театре на концерте ансамбля Сухишвили. Приятно удивило, что интерьер театра, обстановка сохранились! Очень приветливые сотрудники, сервис, обстановка! Надеюсь, что в наши нелегкие времена культура сохранится!!!

Еще одна достопримечательность, которая требует реставрации. Красиво, помпезно, но уже затерто до дыр.Местные выступления не нравятся. Хожу исключительно на приезжие гастроли, но ,увы, и цены там на порядок выше.Так что если захотите посмотреть на свою любимую звезду, придется заплатить от 200-250 грн. за билет, а то и от 500 грн.
