A very tranquil sheltered pool with breakers over the granite breakwater. No waves, rips or currents to speak off, so great place ego take the kids for a swim
This is a fantastic setting where you can swim safely and have kids playing in the water. The only drawback is that it can get crowded on week ends on a warm to hot.
My title says it all. I am mildly amused that some people only rated this 4 stars, maybe they arrived after the arvo breeze sets in?
The hotel we stayed at told us about this place. It was amazing and did not disappoint. Well worth the trip out to see the elephant rocks and have a swim. The water does not stay cold once you are in it.
This pool is actually the ocean surrounded by large boulders so the surf doesn't get through. The water is crystal clear with white sand. It is in a National Park, so there isn't any development there apart from the car park. It is a few k's out of Denmark, probably a 15 minute drive. We went for a holiday to Denmark for a week and as far as I was concerned the trip to Greens Pool was the highlight. The swimming is just divine, definitely deep enough for proper swimming - one swimmer was doing long laps and there are areas which are ideal for children. Older children were jumping off the rocks until the water. As a West Aussie water lover, it really hits the spot for me!Just as an aside, we went for a walk over the rocks to Elephant Rocks and encountered a snake sunning itself on the path. We just waited until it decided to move along and finished our walk, so watch out for wildlife.
The most stunning spotless beach!! Our new favourite family beach so safe for the kids the sand is so pristine and the rocks so much fun to explore make sure to bring goggles and snorkels and a camera
Although the water are very cold it's a great beach to spend time. The view and amazing and you can travel along the beach
What a wonderful place Greens Pool is - white powdery sand, clear blue water and very safe for bathing and/or paddling for both adults and children. Its so near to Elephant Rocks too that we visited both places on the same day, just walked from one place to the other. We wish we lived in Australia and in that area so that we could visit all the time!
Amazing spot - a must see and swim for any visitors to the area.Hard to believe the calm waters in the pool fringed by rocks separating it form massive breakers!
Beautiful rugged scenery, unspoilt and perfect for children. No other beach I have been to (incl Hawaii) is as amazing.Water can be cold so a wetsuit is needed if visiting in cooler weather.Good access.Be careful of large rocks -have witnessed a few accidents with people jumping off them.Well with a visit.
A wonderful beach and shore line. Safe swimming and amazing scenery. Probably gets crowded in high season but the beach is big enough for people to spread out
This beach has great scenery, large outcrops of rock which provide shelter from winds and a safe place for children.
Absolutely beautiful. Allow half a day minimum if the weather is nice enough to swim. We originally planned to visit Green pools in the afternoon, just for a look, so glad we came in the morning, and spent half the day swimming around and discovering all the secret nooks. The water is so clear and calm, great for families, and not at all crowded. Its a definite must see, if you are around Denmark way.
This place is amazing a lovely family beach as it is protected by all the rocks around the inlet. The water is so blue and clear and the sand is so white a great place for a swim or snorkel .
Difficult to put into words what a beautiful place this is. It has everything you could want from a beach and swimming location. Beautiful views, lots to explore, a calm shallow swimming area and secluded nooks and crannies. You could while away a good day here swimming, sunbathing or just chilling out. A must visit place because if you don't you'll have missed a little bit of paradise.
