the denmark berry farm

We stopped by this pretty little farm on our weekend in Denmark. We were keen to buy some local berries after the supermarket scare, with imported berries from china containing hepatitis a. We met the owner, a great guy, who gave us a plastic container and directed us to the rows of berries for picking. The Rasberries and Marionberries were in season. At $25 for a container, they are very reasonable and once we had filled (not stuffed) our container, we sat and ate the most delicious home made raspberry ice cream I have ever eaten. ***** Please.... If you are picking Berries, please have some respect and pay for what you pick. Don't stuff your container full or your face. This is a small farm and relies on honesty for their income, so do the right thing!
